So I went to Disney's Hollywood Studios Saturday night with my parents and had a blast. On the way home, around 10pm, my dad's car started making funny noises (clunk clunk clunk) we pulled over into the emergency lane and saw the the rear left tire had blown on the inside part. We drove down the emergency until the next exit (2miles). We got to a closed Marathon gas station and waited for the AAA guy to come help; as my mom had called them when we were in the emergency lane. We had tried to take the test re off in the meantime, but the lug nuts weren't coming off! He finally got to us a little past midnight! He didn't bring the equipment necessary even though my mom thought of the AAA people that they needed it. So he couldn't help, so he towed us to a Loves station and dropped us off. Nothing fixed; just towed us there and left us! The mechanics at Loves tried as best they could but their equipment is for Semi-trucks. We had five big, strong men out there working on it until like 3:40 this morning. Finally one of the guys said that the mechanic across the street had the equipment for this job, but wouldn't get there until 8am. We ended up (trying to) sleep in the car (which is small; will post picture soon). The mechanic that was supposed to be there at 8:30 didn't come until 12:30ish and it wasn't even the guy that was supposed to be there, it was a guy that worked for him! He was helping out and another mechanic came by to help out as well. They tried everything! They finally just broke it out using hammer nails and the like, tearing up the rim. I didn't care at that pic my though; I was just happy that they got it off! We then drove a little over an hour and half and finally got home, where we all napped. Thank you Loves' crew for helping and the town of Auburnville for hosting us during this struggle!
