When he stood, it was clear he was favoring one leg over the other, though he didn’t mention it in the slightest, “I don’t believe I’ve ever had such trouble with those creatures, perhaps something has changed among them?”

          it’s not something that can be hidden from the attentive eyes of the dragoon, but for now, he lets it go. if ignis shows issues, he’ll happily help -- but, for now, he lets it be.  “ agitated, i’d say -- more so than normal. or, perhaps, they didn’t like the look you gave them. “  it’s obviously a joke, with a small grin  &  undertone laugh.

          “ i wouldn’t say there’s any need for that .... “  his position shifts, slightly, point of his spear against the ground behind him, ears flicking as chin lifts slightly.  the route that was being taken had been more or less an ambush constructed by local monsters  ( they’re smarter than he gives them credit, it seems! ), but, now, they’re gone. defeated with ease by metal.

          “ MIQO’TE ! ”  he pronounces each syllable loudly  &  carefully, but his voice doesn’t carry any annoyance at ignis’ troubles.
