josh and ruby are endgame actually — imagine josh keeps privately coaching him even after the class is over but doesn’t even take his money cause he feels bad for him, eventually ruby realizes that what he’s been looking for in a partner has been right in front of him this whole time and josh thinks he’s pretty cute actually. they go on a fake date under the guise that he’s teaching ruby but end up back at raven’s nest that night. eventually the whole thing develops into a sitcomesque polyamorous relationship with marissa. ruby is canonically bisexual and josh has made comments that could be interpreted as indicating that he's not exactly straight himself

when i was with jake and a group of guys who wanted him to think they were cool one of them was like ‘haha is it always like this?’ referring to the fact that amir was talking to one or two people whereas jake was surrounded by like eight and he was just like ‘uh… no’ and it was honestly just so loyal and pure of him, like the guy wanted him to laugh it off as if to say he's the cooler and more popular one and he was just like 'fuck that'
