Decided to give Nier Automata another chance but so far it only annoys me….

The characters feel like nothing - yes sure androids and all but still… Weiss was a bloody book.

The world is too big for just walking and yet that is all you have to do. There is no banter among the Team so you just run through that absolutely empty world, occasionally meeting an opponent.

The map is shit and you get lost constantly and all quests are marked at the same time.

I heard its deep.... but just because they push Locke's Socks into your face three minutes in doesnt mean its deep.

top kainé and bottom nier. because it pains me how little of that dynamic exists in doujin AND fanfic format. it’s the most cathartic thing ever if you think about it for these two given their trauma’s. i feel as if i —not to toot my own horn— have been cooking 85% of what exists of this dynamic in this fandom in the later 2020’s LOL 😭🙏 it’s a desert for KaiNier what can i say, and i am here to bring the water (for myself mostly… if you can’t be fed you feed yourself. and i’m picky as HELL; i do not consume nor produce for the other dynamic, sorry to people who ask me about it 🙏)

I started off drawing serious Devola and Popola for 2 hours and then figured I should probably illustrate them being dorks instead. Ngl, probably gonna cry when I see them again in Nier Automata AND EMIL. GOD EMIL THOUGH.
