Oh damn I actually don’t remember! I took the SAT, but I was dual enrollment in high school so I applied to KSU as a transfer student so they didn’t look at my SAT scores. I knew that before taking the SAT so I know I didn’t study. But, long story short, it should be on the KSU website lol.

If you’re a hip-hop fan and you’re listening to Kanye West’s new album because he’s a great rapper and you appreciate good music despite his bullshit, then you’re not a hip-hop fan. Because you could find something else to listen to if you bothered to actually know more hip-hop artists.

There is more art (of all types) readily available to all of us than at any point in human history. If you choose to listen to Kanye West, it’s because you’re too lazy to find something else to listen to. Or you co-sign him. Those are the only two options.

The existence of Kanye West’s huge platform and enormous shadow over pop culture actually makes the world worse. How many loud white people were emboldened by his Trump-loving sideshow? How many hoteps got that extra burst of energy when Kanye went full revisionist history about slavery?

Your life is not lacking by listening to something other than Kanye West. Y’all just don’t wanna boycott stuff you actually like. It’s all well and good to say “I’m boycotting Starbucks!” when the last time you had actually drank coffee, Bush was still in office. Kanye makes a hot beat and you don’t wanna SLIGHTLY inconvenience yourself by missing out on it.

So that’s that on that. Kanye “fans” ain’t shit because they willingly go down the rabbithole with him, and Kanye “critics…who are still bumping his music” ain’t shit because they’re lazy and hypocritical.

Here’s some hard to swallow pills that’ll probably make people upset but is 100% the truth and idc.

You do not have to stay in a relationship with a mentally ill person if it becomes too much for you to handle. You are not their saviour, that’s not your responsibility to save them.

Any person who uses their mental instability to control you staying is a shitty person. IE “if you leave me I swear to god I’ll kill myself”, still not your responsibility, LEAVE.

This. And on a less severe level, you can always tell friends/lovers/partners if you don’t have enough emotional bandwith at the moment to handle what they need help with. From the other side of things, tell your partners that you understand it when need to step away and focus on their own shit. I get a lot of support from my partners, and I try to make sure they understand that they have nothing to feel guilty about if they’re not able to help me out when I’m having a hard time. We take care of each other, but we also have to take responsibility for taking care of ourselves.
