OOC: Indefinite Hiatus
So as you guys have probably gathered that my muse for Veronica has been pretty low lately. I'm so sorry, but I'm going to have to put her on indefinite hiatus. I don't want to delete her though so yeah, hiatus it is.
Veronica rolled her eyes, "Seriously?"
Winter frowned. What a scary thought, that someone she knew could just vanish into thin air. “I really wish I could help you more.” She tried to think of anything else, but the whole night still seemed to be a blur. “Do you… Do you think somebody took her?”
"That's the general consensus, yeah," Veronica replied, "I mean, people don't usually leave their keys in the car doors."
"No sundays off for Veronica, apparently."
"You got it. Seems like even without my father at her side, she still can’t keep herself out of trouble." Lilly smirked, shaking her head. "And they always said I was the troublemaker of the Kane family. She laughed softly at Veronica’s comment. “Well of course, she needs everyone to know what a ‘gift’ they are receiving when they get a letter from the Celeste Kane,” she replied, her tone mocking of her mother’s attitude.
Veronica couldn't help the honestly happy grin that spread across her face as her eyes swept over the paper, "This could really help Weevil, Lily." She grinned as she turned her gaze to her oldest friend, "You're totally amazing, superstar."

Lilly grinned, drawing a halo above her head with her free hand. “I’m innocent, I swear!” She joked, smiling widely. “Mmm, a couple stories, yes. Lifestyles of the rich and the shameless.” She teased, handing over the envelope and taking a seat in front of her best friend’s desk. “Well, I just happened to come across some notes Celeste and her lawyer came up with about her story. You’d be surprised how sloppy she gets when performance art is involved. Left her script right out for everyone to see.”
"Notes?" Veronica echoed as she undid the clasp on the envelope. She pulled the papers free of their protection and her eyes quickly scanned the scribbled text. She gave a startled little laugh. "Only Celeste would write something like this down on stationary with her name on it." Her self-centeredness did actually know no boundaries.

"Always a charmer, Logan." Veronica replied with a small smile. "How about you just tell me what no good you're up today? It would save me a ton of time."
Winter chewed at her bottom lip, thinking it over. “Yeah, pretty sure. I mean like I said, I was pretty buzzed.” She wrapped a strand of hair around her finger. “Don’t remember much after that.”
"So she just like… Disappeared?"
Veronica nodded, "Pretty much. She was last seen leaving work with you and she never arrived home." She tucked her blonde hair behind her ear, "According to the police report, her car was found a couple blocks away, keys in the door, purse on the ground."
OOC: The mun is sleepy so Veronica and I are leaving for the night
...but Lily's reply is drafted. Leave me and Veronica things to deal with tomorrow after work? If I have work tomorrow that is because it's snowing like crazy out there.
