If/when I do decide to come back, I just want yall to know this blog is gonna ignore the prison arc for multiple reasons. I'll add it to my rules but the tldr of it is:
i dont think it's a great idea for mental health reasons to engage in that arc; it's just such an intense arc and I dont want a hobby to become a chore. I had a panic attack when he got shot in hotch's scratch hallucination. Its just too much.
It feels like lazy writing tbh. Thomas Gibson got fired so once again they had to fall back on the one character they throw EVERYTHING at: Spencer.
And, I dont feel like I know enough about PTSS/PTSD to a accurately portray the lasting effects that arc has on Spencer. I WANT to do him better and incorporate it into longterm writing instead of giving him like 2 episodes and then forgetting about it forever, but I just don't think I can do it respectfully at the moment.
Okay so super random, I've never role played before, I've been a random poster and never really gotten involved in fandoms on here.. but I really want to look in criminal minds rp and I don't know where to start or how to join? Any advice?
Just fuckin go for it. Make a roleplay blog and go for it. The only people worth writing with are the people who want to roleplay based on how you write, not your fancy graphics and shit. Dont let elitism trick you, pull you in, or shut you out. There will always be someone willing to write with you.
Honestly if anything's gonna bring me back here it's that tumblr is way less toxic than Facebook
