Since August 2014, we have become a registered NSW government supplier, taking our business to a whole new level.

To become a registered supplier to the NSW Government, i-LAN Technology Pty Ltd has to ensure that our products, service procedures and finance meet the standards set by the NSW government. As such we are delighted to receive an acceptance email from the NSW Government’s Procurement Division and we are now an accredited supplier for the NSW Government ICT services.

The National Broadband Network (NBN) is being rolled out in many areas and in many locations work has already been completed. As a result we have had an influx of customers requiring information on suitable routers to connect to the NBN network. There is no need to change your computer if it is capable of a broadband connection. If you currently have an ADSL connection, you will only need to change your router to a NBN capable device. The NBN equipment installed at your premises will provide an Ethernet connection to allow you to attach your NBN-capable equipment. From Early May, DrayTek made a major upgrade for the Vigor2760 Series routers. Originally designed with Linux OS, these routers are now running on the DrayOS platform. This change is implemented to provide better security as well as an improved user interface.

In the Vigor2760 series running the latest DrayOS firmware version 3.7.5.2, you will notice the login page has changed and now displays “Delight” at the bottom corner. This will help our technical support staff know that you are using the DrayOS platform and be able to provide you with better services.

DrayTek Corporate has released a new beta firmware announced for Vigor2925 (Vigor2925_V3.7.4_RC3). Some of the new features in this new beta firmware are:

Add URL link for dashboard panel.

CVM (Central VPN Management) function.

Dual 3G/LTE function.

Support two USB modem status.

Rogue AP detection.

Support AP load balance.

Also included are many improvements to the firmware. A few of these improvements are:

Support longer name for VPN host/server.

Wireless wizard modifications.

DHCP lease time for subnet.

Recently DrayTek network solutions received the 2014 Taiwan Excellence Award for their products.
