@drdiss
You’re doubly welcome.
Made the thing everyone wanted.
Enjoy.
I have not been active! Mainly because a lot of my audio work has shifted to actual work, rather than fan stuff online. I suppose that’s good!
Anyway, I did some composing practice on the Weird Autumn music in Night in the Woods. Good game, good music. Check it out if you haven’t already!

Finished Breath of the Wild! This could be considered spoilers, depending on how sensitive you are to minor spoilers. If vagueness isn’t a spoiler to you, then read on. You’ve been warned.
I super enjoyed it!
I hated the overworld music.
It felt so disjointed compared to the rest of the game’s music. There’s a distinct ‘Zelda’ sound in music, and the towns/villages, the ‘dungeons’, the boss fights, and so on, all had that unique vibe. The overworld music was mainly ploddy ringing piano, and didn’t fit at all. Experimental, impressionistic piano music isn’t really ‘Zelda’ music.
Also missed traditional dungeons and bosses. Last boss was pretty cool though.
Pimp Bowser looks sick.
Started this yonks ago. Finished it just in time for Santa to enjoy. Share it around if you’re feeling festive.

Made an epic sci-fi track for the Syntone demos.
Megahorns, and bassy synths galore!

Have a preview of a Breath of the Wild orchestral remix I’ve been slowly picking at for the past few weeks. Won’t finish the full one for another few weeks at least, but it should sound awesome when finished!
Anyone else notice that Incineroar’s Darkest Lariat move is basically just Chunky Kong’s arm spin from Donkey Kong 64?
So we had a client pull out recently. Luckily, we kept the rights to our audio, and I'd written a little bit of music. So I'm releasing it for free.
If you're after audio for a game, film, or project, then check out Syntone. I mostly pay attention to Twitter now, so hit me up there.
And finally, DOWNLOAD HERE!
Out of all the projects I’m a part of, this is one of the few I can actually show, because it’s for a student game! For reference, here’s our policy on student games.
This week has been insane, as we’ve had a few clients getting ready for PAX Aus, meaning all the audio needs to be double checked…phew!
Reblogging, because I accidentally uploaded the previous version I made. Some minor changes (like reverb on the bird whistle) and some mixing fixes in this one.

Trying to keep myself working by doing a ‘soundbite’ saturday. Unfortunately didn’t do much today, but have a brief arrangement of some of the Breath of the Wild trailer music. May expand on it, may not.
Nintendo Switch! Love the name, love the design. Only things now:
- Specs
- Battery Life
- Charger (USB-C please)
- Price
Once I know all that, I will be a happy bunny!
