A/n: merry late christmas.THIS ONE IS SO BAD. IT SUCKS. MY WORST FIC YET
The floor was lively this time of night. Fireflies flew around, making the scenery look downright magical.
And here you were, laughing away the night with a wooden mug filled with beer in your hand. You haven’t drunk much, but you could feel the effects of the alcohol on your consciousness. Opposite of you, Freja had refilled her drink for the fourth time with a smile on her face. Summer insisted on celebrating Christmas, and nobody had any reason to decline. So today, the table was filled with Christmas-themed delicacies and there was one big tree in the middle of everything. Decorated with Christmas lights, ornaments, and candy canes. At the very top, a tree topper.
There are presents underneath it all for everyone. You suspect it’s all mostly from Summer, Sweetheart, and Cupid. Leon sat beside you, cookie in hand. You snorted, opening your mouth as he popped it in your mouth. You closed your mouth and chewed. You hummed at the taste, delicious!
You yelped when you felt Simha wrap one of his arms around your midriff and pull you up, cookie crumbs falling out of your mouth. His voice was booming, “Isn’t this the greatest, little one?” He laughed, eggnog in his other hand as he took a swig. “Merry Christmas.” He told you, his grin so wide it infected you as you smiled at him. You gulped down the cookie. “Merry Christmas, Captain.” You giggled as Simha kissed you on the top of your head before he let you back down, retreating his hand too.
You brought your mug up to your mouth to take a drink and you pursed your lips when you realized your mug was empty. “Need a refill?” Lady Freja asked across from you. She was absolutely drunk, her eyes unfocused and her smile wider than usual. You smirked with one furrowed eyebrow, “I don’t know. I don’t want to end up with a hangover tomorrow.” You shrugged. Freja rolled her eyes, “C’mon. Loosen up, yeah?” Her voice drawled out. You hear the younger lion rumble beside you before you feel Leon’s tail wrap around your thigh under the table.
You hummed, handing her your mug as she stood up, stumbled, and walked away to refill your drink. Just then you hear someone sliding into the seat across from you. Your eyes meet hypnotizing red ones. “Hey, cupcake. I was lookin’ all over for you.” Sir Lunar greeted you. You waved at him, “Hi Lunar.”
Freja was back quick, elbowing Sir Lunar lightly to get him to scoot over on the seat as she reclaimed her spot. She hands you your mug. “Don’t drink it all in one chug, pearl.” Her hand lingered on yours before letting you go. You thanked her as you took a sip, leaning slightly into Simha beside you.
“How is your night so far, muffin?” Sir Lunar hummed, his ears flicking as he propped his head up with both his hands. “It’s been lovely.” You took another swig of your beer. “I couldn’t ask for a better Christmas.” You added in. It was true; your heart felt full and nice. “How about you?” Sir Lunar’s eyes lit up. “I’m so glad you’re having a great time! I myself am having a blast. So many sweet things for lil ol’ me!” He emphasized his words by licking his canines.
You close your eyes, propping your chin up with one of your hands. You let the sound of everyone talking to each other fill your silence. Tonight, you feel light. Like there is no problem in the world. You wished every day could be this forever.
You yawned as you entered your apartment, your muscles sore and aching from today’s work. You closed the door behind you and locked it. You hung your key on the key hanger on the wall and you smiled as you noticed the spare key you left out hanging beside yours. “Orrith?” You called out to your living space. “In your room!” You heard them yell back. You huffed fondly as you walked over to your bedroom.
You don’t know what you expected when you entered, but it certainly wasn’t this. Your bedroom has been transformed into a fort of blankets. Your bedframe is nowhere to be found, along with your desk. At the sound of the door opening, Orrith peeked their head out of the fort and grinned when they spotted you. They crawled out of the piles of blankets and pulled you into a hug, “I missed you so much!” They giggled.
You hugged them back, but you were still confused. “Orrith, where are my… things?” You asked them worriedly. Orrith only laughed in response before they realized you were genuinely concerned. “Sorry! They’re fine, I promise. I moved them to my realm and they'll be back in the blink of an eye if you want them too!” Their ears dropped at the thought of making you worry. You sighed in relief, “Alright, thank you. That’s all I needed to hear.”
At the sight of your smile, Orrith perked right back up. “Well then, why don’t you go shower and then you can join me in the fort?” They gestured to the folded towel and clothes they’ve prepared for you. You nodded, giving them a kiss on their forehead. “Be right back then.”
—————————
You squealed when Orrith pulled you into the blanket fort, the two of you rolled on your soft mattress in laughter. “I knew you’d come home tired… so I wanted you to relax. We have the rest of the month to ourselves.” They cuddled into you, their chin resting on top of your head. You sighed, “I don’t want to keep you away from your duties.” You feel them intertwine their fingers together with yours.
They hummed. “It’ll be alright. I can think of a workaround.” The craven pulled you up and kissed you on your cheek. “Don’t you worry about it, hm? That’s for me to worry about.” They kissed you on the lips for just a second. “I just want you to relax tonight.”
You’re not sure what you could’ve done to catch the eyes of a Craven, one from outside your realm too, to fall in love with you. Orrith was friends with your realm Craven and was visiting to look over how everything was going and to look around. And that’s how the two of you met.
You hum, body relaxing. “I love you, Orrith.” You murmured, muscles relaxing and tiredness consuming you. “I love you too.” They laughed softly. “Sleep. I’ll be here in the morning, promise.” They nuzzled into the crook of your neck. “Goodnight, little comet.”
A/n: READER NOTE; reader is said to be a floor 3 resident
“Tesoro mio!” Darling called out to you when he saw you enter the garden. You smiled, waving at him as you approached. “Hello Darling. Am I late?” You questioned as you put down the food basket you brought on the picnic rug the man had prepared for the two of you. “Oh caro! No, no, no. You’re quite alright. I was just early so I could set everything up!” He laughed. Darling looked at the food basket you brought and smiled under his mask. “And pray tell, tesoro, what delicacies did you bring today?” He tilted his head.
You laughed, grabbing the basket and rummaging through it. You pulled out baked goods you’ve made yourself and a few fruits. You heard him gasp. “My dear, you’ve outdone yourself now!” His wings flapped excitedly behind him. You smiled, “Thank you! I always look forward to our little… ‘date.’” You giggled.
You offered him a gingerbread man and he visibly brightened up when he saw that you decorated it to look like him. “Gosh. I couldn’t possibly eat this!” He took the gingerbread man from you as you went and grabbed another one. You showed him that this new one is decorated to look like you and Darling aww-ed. He bonked the head of his gingerbread man to yours and you both shared a laugh.
The two of you spent the whole afternoon together. You reside on floor 3, so it was not often you got to see Darling since the way from floor 3 back to floor 2 was a hassle you don’t want to have to do often. You invited him to stay with you but he declined. Saying that someone needs to watch over the beauty of floor 1. You were sad, of course, but you know his will is unshakable.
You two caught up with each other. Smiling and laughing. And in the blink of an eye, the light was already setting. You pouted when you realized that.
Darling sighed, you heard him shuffling before he was suddenly in front of your face. His plague mask was off, put neatly beside him and one of his hands was raised. You flushed, eyes darting up and you saw the mistletoe hanging from his hand between the two of you. You snorted out a laugh and he chuckled. “I went ahead and asked around about this… holiday you all seem to celebrate. My home realm didn’t necessarily have it.” He sheepishly explained to you. “Well, amore mio?” He whispered.
You gave him a fond smile and cupped his face and brought him in for a kiss. It was warm and nice. Like him. The mistletoe fell from his hand. He held your waist and your face.
Too soon for your liking, the two of you part ways. You pouted, and he shook his head. “Why don’t you stay over for a few days here? Hm…?” He tilted his head. You hummed in thought, pretending to be thinking it over like that wasn’t your original plan. “I don’t see why not.” You smiled before Darling pulled you in for another kiss.
You flushed under your scarf as Vayorth smiled in front of you. “I have never gone sledding before.” You tell him sheepishly. He nods in understanding. “That’s alright. I’ll be with you. You won’t fall or get hurt.” He reassured you and you nod in gratefulness. The hill you’re about to sled down isn’t anything extreme, it’s just a small, but still tall, hill. But you were still nervous, as it was your first time.
You huffed after a moment and looked at him with determination. “Okay! I’m ready.” You nod at him and he chuckles as he guides you to sit down on the board. When you confirmed to him that you were ready, you felt him sit down behind you. “For today, you are the captain. And I… am your deputy.” He spoke to you. You laughed, your heart felt full.
“Just lean forward whenever you’re ready, little star.” Vayorth informs you. You turn your head to look at him and he’s smiling fondly at you. You return the smile.
You leaned forward and the board tilted, and off you went. Vayorth’s tail wraps around your stomach, keeping you secured. You yelled out in joy as the two of you slid down the hill. The cold air hits your face, but it doesn’t bother you. “Faster, my deputy!” You called out to him. You hear him laugh as you feel the speed of the sled pick up.
It was only a moment before your sled slowed down to a stop and you blinked a few times. “Let’s go again!” You were already standing up, untangled from Vayroth’s tail and excitedly hopped in place. Vayorth laughed yet again, giving you a salute. “As you wish, captain.”
A/n: sorry if its ooc. a short one, but one i like the most ngl
A rare moment of open vulnerability. That's how you would describe this moment.
The blood red moon above you illuminated his garden. He's beside you, hand itching to touch you but at the same time afraid that it'll feel like burning.
There's a bonfire next to the two of you. Surrounded by rocks to make sure it doesn't spread to his garden. The realm has gotten colder this time of year. You look at him and his eyes are fixed on the wall, too focused. Too aware.
You took the first step. You slowly reached out to him.
You hear him let out a small gasp as you put your hand on top of his. He looks pained. But when you tried to take back your hand, he intertwined them together. He held your hand in a tight grip, but not enough to hurt. Your posture relaxed.
You sigh, eyes looking up to watch the empty night sky. The moon is bleeding.
You shiver from the cold air.
You lean your head onto Torashi's shoulder and you feel him stiffen. You don't see it, but he reached for his discarded haori and draped it over you. You're surrounded by his scent and it makes your eyes droop. You feel his tail coil behind you as you close your eyes.
In the morning, he won't be beside you.
In the morning, he'll pretend this never happened. To protect himself.
So tonight, you'll engrain this moment in your memories.
A/n: aaaand im slipping with my days. i'll post the next one soon
“Wake up…” You murmur, trying to wake up the boy on your couch. Riuki mumbled something incoherent as his eyes slowly opened, looking at you confused. “Sorry for waking you up.” You looked away for a second. “But… we both fell asleep, and it's… morning.” You smiled nervously. Riuki processed your words before his eyes widened and he sat up.
“Shit.” Was his only response before he hurriedly fixed his hair and was already walking up to your door. “Wait!” You yelled out, and he stopped at your door, looking back at you. “Um… The door is… blocked.” You said apologetically, like it was your fault somehow.
“What?!” He exclaimed as he looked out your window, and sure enough, the snow was blocking a good amount of the door. What's worse is that it looks like the snow is still falling down semi-heavily. “And it looks like it’ll stay blocked for a while.” He sighs. You hung your head low. “I’m sorry… I didn’t think we’d fall asleep. I’m sure your sisters and moms are worried.”
Riuki shook his head, “No no no, it’s not your fault. Um… It’s fine. They know I’m with you, so they probably won’t worry as much.” He smiled. You still felt bad, but you returned his smile. “Then why don’t I make us some hot cocoa?” You offered and you can see his eyes light up. “Oh, yes please. Let me help you.” He followed you as you walked into your kitchen.
You waved your hand, “Oh, no need. It’s okay.” You gestured for him to sit down on the dinner chair. Riuki frowned and opened his mouth to say something but he stopped when you gave him a pleading look. He sighed, sitting down like you asked him to.
You sang a tune while the water in front of you was slowly heating up. You grabbed a packet of instant hot cocoa and ripped it open gently, pouring it into the mug you prepared. “Thank you.” Riuki spoke up suddenly. You look at him, “Huh?” You tilted your head slightly. He was looking at you with a smile. “Thank you. For being with me.”
You flush, looking back at the boiling water in front of you as you unplugged the thermo pot from the wall. “Um… No problem. Thanks to you, too.” You awkwardly replied. You hear him laugh behind you as you stir the hot cocoa. You grabbed both of your mugs and walked over to him, putting them down on the table. He thanked you again and blew on the cocoa to cool it down.
The two of you sat in silence as you drank your hot cocoa, a warm feeling surrounding the two of you.

You thanked Zaelith as she held your hands through the Ice Ring. Your legs are shaking slightly, but Zaelith smiled at you patiently. “Breathe, little star. I won’t let you fall!” She told you. You nodded as you breathed, letting yourself calm down and slide through the ice. “There you go!” She beams at you. She slowly lets go of your hands and you nod.
Zaelith claps when you hold your ground and begin skating on your own. Zaelith skates forward, her posture natural and elegant. You try your best too.
When she invited you to snow skate, your eyes widened. You never thought the high seer would ever invite you to do something together. You said yes instantly but then backtracked and told her that you were no professional. In fact, it’s been a while since you ice skated. She giggled and shook her head, telling you it was fine, and she could even teach you if you wanted.
Now here you are, skating naturally with Zaelith’s guidance. She skates like she was born with the talent for it. You yelp when someone bumps into you and made you lose your balance, falling onto the ice below you. You hear them laugh before quickly skating off. Zaelith is already in front of you with one of her arms stretched out to you. “Oh my! Are you okay?” She sounds worried. You laughed it off as you took her hand and stood up, slipping slightly in the process. “Thank you. I’m alright.” You assure her. Zaelith holds your hands as she takes you outside of the ice ring to make sure you’re alright.
You hear someone else skate over to where you are, and when you look up, you’re surprised to see the space captain there. “That was quite the fall. Are you alright?” He asked you. You repeat yourself, telling him that you’re alright. Zaelith straightens herself when she’s finally satisfied looking you over. “Someone knocked them over and ran off.” She looks over to Vayorth, who frowned. “Do you have a description of their appearance?”
Zaelith nods.
When the two of them are done talking, Zaelith comes back to you as Vayorth skates away. “Little star, would you like to continue or take a small break?” She asked you. You hum, shrugging. “I don’t mind continuing. I’ll pay more attention this time.” You laugh nervously, but Zaelith shakes her head. “The person that bumped into you did it out of malice. It was not your fault. But don’t worry, they won’t bother you anymore.” She smiled.
You sweat internally, “Oh! Thank you, Miss Zaelith!”
A/n: short one. sorry im melting because of finals
You huddled into the white bunny onesie to gather more warmth in the cold temperature. Floor 1 of Ribbon Rabbit is the last place that gets snow, but the temperature still drops at this time of year. You beam when the door to your room opens and in walks a giddy Kasper, dressed in a black bunny onesie to match with you. He called your name out in glee.
You yelped, then giggled when Kasper tackled you onto your bed, nuzzling into you to get warmer. "I missed you!!" It grinned. You smile as you kiss the top of his head. "Miss you too." You hummed.
Kasper dug in his onesie pocket and fished out a packet of biscuits. He rips it open easily and offers you the first bite. You open your mouth, and it pops the biscuit in your mouth. You close your eyes and chew as you lean more into him. Kasper giggled and grabbed the blanket near your feet and wrapped it around the two of you. "It's so cold." You murmur. It shrugs, "I know! But I got you, don't you worry!"
You yawn, and Kasper perks up. It wraps the biscuit shut and sets it down on the nightstand beside your bed. It pulled you to lay down and spooned you from behind, and the two of you tangled your legs together. You breathe in the smell of old books from him as you smile. "Goodnight, Kas." You close your eyes.
"G'night!" It replies. You feel him wrap his arms around your stomach.
The snowstorm was heavy last night. When you opened your door to get out this morning, the snow slid onto your floor, making your eyes twitch. But now here you are, rolling up snow to make the base of your snowman with. Judas is beside you since the two of you agreed to hang out today and enjoy the snow. The biologist had already made a snow sculpture that resembles a small dog that she was very proud of.
You asked him what its name was, and he shrugged as he gave you a smile. "Why don't you name it?" Ey offered. You smiled and hummed, "How about Snowball?" You suggested it jokingly, and it got a laugh out of him. "Really?" She raised her eyebrow with a smile. You snort, "Nah. Just joking. Hmm..."
You clap your hands when a lightbulb goes off in your head, "How about Rook?" You smile. "Oh?" Judas tilts her head. "Any reason why... 'Rook'?" ey looks back at the snow sculpture. Now it's your turn to shrug. "I don't know. It just felt... right." You tsk-ed as you began to roll up a second snowball for your snowman's body. The biologist nods, "Sure. I like it." There was a distant look in their eyes, but it quickly faded away as they walked beside you and began helping you make your snowman.
"What are we making?" Now it was his turn to ask you. "I was just thinking of an average snowman, not gonna lie." You confess as you lift the big snowball and set it down on the bigger base. Judas nods as they hand you some rocks and sticks they've picked up beforehand to act as decorations. You thanked em as you decorated your snowman. Judas hums as he begins rolling up snow for the head to finish off the snowman.
The wind picks up and you shiver, making Judas look over to you. "You're okay?" He asks you. You nod, shaking your hand to tell her not to worry. Judas pouts as she fixes her glasses. You continue decorating your snowman as Judas puts the head on. Ey helps you make the face.
When you're both done, you two step back and you hum in pride. It doesn't look half bad!
You yelp when you feel Judas wrap his scarf around you and pull you in. Your face flushed, making him laugh. He fixes your fur coat and beanie to cover your skin better. "Don't freeze up on me." The smile on their face is soft as they meet your eyes. You smile back, your hand grabs hers as you lean in to kiss his cheek. "You... wanna come over to my place?" You invited. Judas pretends to think about it for a moment before nodding.
You separated from em before sticking out your tongue. "Race you there!" You laugh as you begin running. You hear her whine behind you, and it makes you laugh harder.
You and Sky are currently sitting on the swing, eating freshly made hotdogs to cool down. The snow was coming down lightly. You decided to go to the park to make Sky take a break from his screens. It took a lot of convincing but you somehow got her to go with you in the end. The snow crunched as you stood up. You reach your hand out to offer to throw away Sky’s empty hotdog box, he gave it to you with silence.
You quietly take it and throw it away in the nearby trashcan. When you come back, Sky is fidgeting with his jacket. The kid never knows what to do when her gadgets aren’t around. “This is boring.” She speaks up. “Thanks for the hot dog but I’m going home now.”
He didn’t even get two steps in before he tripped forwards as the snowball you threw hit the back of his head. “OW!” She yelled, looking back at you with a glare. You smirk, “I guess my aim is improving.” You laugh but yelp as your face was suddenly hit with a snowball. You shake your head and shiver, “Guess my aim isn’t as rusty as I thought.” You can hear the grin in their voice. You grit your teeth. “Oh, it’s on!”
And that’s how you found yourself having a snowball fight with your childhood friend. The two of you running around in the snow, laughing and teasing each other. It reminds you of how you met him back when the two of you were only 5 years old.
There they sat, behind a tree, sniffling. In his hand was a DS, he was playing it aggressively to let out whatever got him to this place in the park. You sit down beside her and she jumps. He glares at you and goes back to their game, a pout on their face as they ignore you. You didn’t care.
A few moments pass by before he snaps at you, “What do you want?!” You raised an eyebrow as you shrugged, “I don’t know. The other kids are loud. And this is the only spot in the park that’s somewhat empty.” You frown. “Well it’s clearly not! This is my spot! Get out!” She starts shoving you and you huff. “This park isn’t yours!” you angrily clawed at the ground to ball up a snowball and throw it at her. He screamed and pocketed his DS before throwing snowballs at you with anger.
Your mother and his father had to pry the two of you away from each other after they noticed the commotion.
From that day on you and Sky made it your life mission to annoy each other every time you see each other in the neighborhood. You would’ve never guessed it would develop into a friendship. The two of you understand the other more than anyone else could, even if neither of you would ever admit it.
You snap out of your trance when you feel Sky tackling you onto the ground. “Enough!” She grits her teeth above you. “Surrender now and I might let you take me outside more.” He grins. You laugh as you roll your eyes. You glare at him teasingly before sticking out your tongue, “Fine! God! You win.”
He rolls off of you and now the two of you lie down on the snow-covered ground. You look over to him and you catch his eyes on you before he quickly looks away. You smile. Sky doesn’t say anything, so you took the chance. “Thank you. For agreeing to go out with me.” You hum. She stayed quiet, but you know she appreciates you too. He just never knows how to express it.
You see him sit up and you see his ears are flushed. You smirk under your scarf.
A/n: idfk. ooc i guess IDK WHAT HES LIKE AFTER THE CYCLE
You stand at the beach of Chronovista, the wind blowing through your hair. Beside you sat Harper, fidgeting with the bag he always carries around. Right now, he just finished his last delivery for today and is sitting with you at an empty part of the beach. Ever since something shifted in the realm, Harper feels even more on edge and distant. He used to come to you when he feels down in the dumps, but nowadays it feels like he never knows what to say to you.
It makes you feel alone.
You know what it’s like to miss home. You and Harper bonded over the fact that you two feel like you don’t quite belong in this supposed happy place. You sigh, “Hi, Harp.” you speak up. He flinched, looked at you, and quickly looked away. “Hi.” He stuttered out. You chew on your lip. “If you didn’t wanna come here, you didn’t have to-”
“NO!”
Harper’s sudden outburst made you jump and he covered his mouth with his hand, his ears drooping down. “I-I’m sorry. Fuck.” The curse was so quiet you almost missed it. Now it was his turn to sigh. “I’m.. so sorry. I’m a mess.” He curled up on himself. His tail sways behind him slightly. “Ever since the… the shift.. the lockdown… I just wanted to lay down and forget it all. Wait until the day I can go home.” He hides his face in his hands.
You frown, your hand draws random patterns on the sand under you. “Don’t apologize.” You start with. “I get it. I miss my home, too…” You try to get him to look at you and he does. “I have something for you.” You smile softly. Harper’s eyes widen as he straightens his legs on the sand and turns his body to be facing you. You searched through the backpack you brought with you and brightens when you feel the gift box.
You pulled it out and pushed it to his chest. “Here. Careful, it’s fragile.” Harper holds the small box in his hands, “Can I open it..?” He tilts his head as you laugh, “Yes. Yes you can.” You watch fondly as he tries to open the wrapping gently.
“A… perfume bottle..?”
He looks at you confused and you can’t help but laugh more. “Smell it! Do you remember what it is?” You beam at him. He still looks at you confused as he sprayed some of the perfume onto his sleeve and smells it. The way his eyes lit up and his tail wags makes your heart warm. “I-It’s the perfume I told you smelled like… m-my home.” He muttered. “B-but how! It was so expensive… and when I had enough they said that they stopped making them since it wasn’t selling well!” He looks at you bewildered.
“I make it work.” You shrug. You yelp when Harper pulls you into a hug. “Thank you.” He sighs. You blinked before hugging him back.
He lets you go sheepishly before pocketing it in his bag. He started to pick on his fins before you elbow him and he apologized. “Now I feel… really bad. I didn’t bring you anything…” He frowns and you shake your head. “Seeing you again is something I can never put a price on.”
Harper snorts, his face flushing even more. “Okay.” He huffs. He scoots closer to you and his tail coils behind you. Not close enough to touch you, but close enough that you can feel it slightly. He ponders slightly before he opens his bag and pulls out one of the Tori merch he has and offers it to you. You were surprised. “Isn’t this…” You tilt your head. “A long gone limited time Tori merch.” He cuts off embarrassingly.
You gasp, “No! I can’t possibly take this from you!” You grab his wrist that was holding the plush. He pushes it to you. “I insist… I-... I know you’ll take good care of her anyways.” He pleads. You were hesitant, but you took it in your hands. “Yeah. I promise… I’ll take care of this.” You smile.
The two of you continue to sit on the beach watching as the sky turns dark. You wish you could stay like this forever.
You knock on the warehouse door that you’ve come to love. A few moments pass before it opens slightly. “It’s just me.” You speak up. The door fully opened and there stood Byte, “I know. You have a… specific rhythm to your knocks.” He shrugs. “You… need anything?” His eyes avoid yours. You shake your head. “No… I was just.. wondering if I can crash at your place tonight?” You smile tiredly. Byte’s eyes raised in surprise but he quickly returned to his neutral expression. “Uh.. sure.” He looks back behind him for a moment before stepping aside, letting you in. You nod, “Thanks. I mean it.”
Byte shrugs again as he closes the door. There was a question on the tip of his tongue but he shakes his head and lets it go. Much to his dismay, you noticed. “My place…is uh, loud. Louder than usual tonight.” You explain yourself. “Oh.” Was Byte’s simple reply before he walked back to his computer. You walked over to his runned down couch and sat down. “Where’s Aero?” You look around his place. “Uh, I… don’t know. Out.” His hands were busy with his electronics.
The sound of keyboard clickings and the clicks of his mouse fills the quietness of the moment. You lay your head down on the couch, bringing your feet up to the arm rest. “It’s almost Christmas.” You blurt out. The clicking stops for a second before Byte speaks, “What?”
You looked towards him and were surprised to see him looking back at you. “You know… ‘s just… going to be my first Christmas down here.” You mumble. Byte’s eyes leave yours again. “Oh. Right…” If you squint your eyes, you can see the cartoony sweat on his screen. “Um… What do you usually do…? On Christmas, I mean. Back in your realm.”
You think about it. Recalling all those moments before you were thrown down here. “I looked around the city. Vendors start selling cute holiday things. People playing in the snow-.. I miss the snow. I miss the feeling.” You trailed off. Byte was quiet. You look at the ceiling of the warehouse to reminisce.
“I miss the faint music playing in the streets. Those overplayed Christmas songs that’s everywhere.” You lastly add on with a laugh. You hear Byte hum as you close your eyes. You feel yourself drifting in and out of consciousness but you shake yourself awake when you hear Byte curse. You were about to ask him if he’s alright before you hear the sound of music playing from his computer.
He stood up from his chair, grabbing the top of his computer screen. “El! STOP!” He whispered. You hear his fan running faster inside his head. He’s flustered.
You grinned confused. “What’re you doing?” You sat up on the couch. “NOTHING!” He yelled. But the song becomes louder and you laugh as you realize Jingle Bell is playing. Byte huffed, crossed his arms, and sat back down on his chair, embarrassed. You look at him with a smile as you sing along to the tune as you remembered.
Byte has his face buried in the computer screen, the hood of his jacket pulled over his head. You sigh as you relax on the couch. If you close your eyes you can imagine your life back then. Back before you got thrown down here and you smile. “Thanks, Byte.”
The clicking stopped again and you hear his fans slowing down. It might’ve been a minute or two before you heard him shuffle slightly and raised up the volume of the songs playing. He grumbles, “Yeah you better thank me. These songs fucking sucks.” He replies, but you hear no real venom behind his words.
For the first time in a while, you feel relaxed down in the DarkWeb.
A/n: short one, sorry i didnt have writing juices flowing
You sigh in relief as you set down the piping bag beside you.You smile as Trixi practically vibrated behind you. She squeals as she jumps and wraps her hands around you from behind, her chin resting on your shoulder as she looks at the cookies you two are currently making. “Sooo CUTE, bunny!” she sobbed behind you. You yelp as she picks you up and spins you around. “Trixi! Put me down!” You laughed. She did and you stumble slightly, dizzy.
She pulls you close to her again. “Sorry! Sorry! I got sooo excited. Are you okay?” You can hear the genuine worry in her voice and you pet her arm that’s wrapped around you. “I’m alright Trixi. It’s fine!” You smile when Trixi lets you go to pick up the tray of cookies and set them down elsewhere to let it cool off.
When she’s done, she stood up straight and went back straight to you. “Thank you for helping me.” She hums, picking you up again and setting you down on the counter. She steals a quick kiss from you and you chuckle. “It’s no problem, Trix.”
You open your arms in an invitation to cuddle while you wait for the cookies to be done. Trixi beams, jumping into your arms and closing her eyes with a sigh. You hum, one of your hands went to her head. You comb her hair through your fingers, careful not to accidentally pull on a stray knot. “Baking cookies for everyone is a nice thought. You’re going all out this year too, hm?”
Trixi speaks into your shoulders, “I have to.” she mumbles before lifting her head up. “Not that it feels like a chore!” She quickly clarifies. “I just want it to feel like home here. Ever since the cycle…” She trails off, her ears dropping. “I just want everyone to be happy.” Was what she came up with. You nod with a frown, kissing the top of your head. “You make me happy.”
Trixi straightens up with her eyes slightly widened, her cheeks are slightly flushed. She gives you a cute expression before dropping to her knees and hugging you again, her head is leveled with your stomach. “OHH! Bunny, I’m so happy to hear that!!” She cried. You laugh, “You do a lot for others, hm? I need to make sure you’re taken care of as well.” You snort when she lifts her head off of your stomach and there's a big pout and her eyes are glossy.
“I love you Trixi.” You tell her. She giggles, her smile returning. “I love you too, silly.”
Even if she gets too much sometimes, Trixi is one of the most approachable and friendly people you can meet in the realm. You can easily get along with her.
If you're the one to confess first, she'd get really emotional and excited. Unless you set a boundary, the whole realm probably will instantly know you're both dating.
If she's the one to confess first, it'd be some big celebration with pastries she's made. She's very over the top.
I imagine Trixi is very open to PDA. If you are too then she'll give you a quick kiss every chance she gets.
If you're not into it, Trixi would still give you short kisses in public, but way less. And she takes out all that love when you're both alone.
Lots of cuddling, baking, and arts and crafts. Trixi always invites you to do activities with her.
You're one of the few to see Trixi in the comfort of her room. The sad girl inside her heart. She thanks you for being here as you two cuddle on her bed.
I think she'd have abandonment issues due to her past. Be patient with her in the first few months. Even year.
Of course, she's there for you too. Trixi can quiet down and listen to you. She loves you and would do anything to make you happy.
Expect to have your birthdays celebrated to the fullest.
In the deadest of nights, Trixi lays awake with you sleeping in her arms. Dreading the thought of another cycle happening and it takes you away from her.
