Sokka is one of the remaining greatest non bender from team avatar. The one who made every plan that sparked into brilliance when looked on from the future. the one that people were still surprise to see existed to begin with.

  𝓢okka was taken back by the young man's words. Hearing him ask if his mother loves him. It very well might be related to him being a non-bender. Why else would he be asking him the question and not someone else? The elder man raised his eyebrows in a sympathetic manner as he patted the seat next to him, hoping the young man would join him on the couch. ❝—I think your mother loves all of you. What makes you think that she doesn't?❞ It was shocking to hear the young child think this way. Normally, he assumed most children felt unconditional love from their parents. It seems that assumption was wrong.

"Blades are something I am used to. I was curious if I could enhance them with airbending." What it didn't expect was a ricochet and to end up cut. Oh, how the clan would love that one. Cut but its own blade.

It wouldn't be surprised if it returned to Air Temple Island and every blade it had had been confiscated. Technically they shouldn't be there at all but old habits died hard. Miyuki needed the assurance of at least one blade within reach at all times to feel somewhat secure.

Miyuki didn't even flinch. Used to much worse than what felt like an itch as flesh stitched itself back together under the gentle glow of the water. It had never actually seen a waterbender healer in action before, not on itself or anyone it knew. If it could it would have turns its head to watch but that was impossible. Instead it sat quietly and passively as the waterbender did her work.

"It feels itchy but bearable."

So you might be onto something.❞ Rikka gave a small nod, slowly pulling the water away to get a clearer view of the injury that was red, but the cut was closed now. ❝Maybe just take it slow. And you know... away from the neck.❞ She added with a playful light laugh. Drawing the water away from the woman's neck completely, along with most of the moisture, she moved it back toward the sink so it could be disposed of. The healer then turned back to her patient, who was waiting. ❝It would be cool, but maybe practice with something else until you get the hang of using the blades with your airbending? Something that shares the same weight and structure, but less lethal?❞

"I'll do that. It sounds like that is the best choice for both of us." A small laugh came from the Chunin. He could see the woman not appreciating learning that Hayate wasn't taking care of himself. The thought was sweet, but he wouldn't say it right now. No need for any sappiness right now.

"That'd be a pretty effective technique though. I'd probably lose to them." He sheepishly ran a hand through his hair a bit. It was a bit embarrassing to admit, but at least the man was aware of his weaknesses. "If I had more genjutsu talent, I'd try to figure out a technique like that."

  𝓗ayate leaned back in his chair, lifting his left leg to rest on his right before he crossed his arms over his chest. ❝So it's you we have to look out for.❞ He joked, knowing that Izumo obviously didn't specialize in it, but the idea was forming between the two. Though it was more of a joking technique, in some cases, it could be fairly effective. He coughed into his elbow a few more times before returning to his previous position. ❝I mean, there are billions of people in the world...someone might know it.❞

It was a miracle that the airbenders survived, and they would need another miracle if they wanted to see old age. ❝I'll give you another chance to use your airbending before I take it away.❞

She was proud of herself for not shaking, though she bet years of Lady Tremaine's cane was a big reason as to why she didn't. She swallowed, feeling the blade of the sword press into her neck just so slightly. "You'd be surprised at what I can handle." She merely stated.

In the background, she could hear screams and people running. There would be no one to save her; she had to reason her way out, though she didn't think there would be any reasoning with a man who was ransacking a quiet village. "I am useful."

Offering whatever useful services they could provide in exchange for keeping them alive. It usually didn't last long if he did spare them. Often becoming wary of whatever work he put them to and succumbing to the exhaustion on multiple different levels.

Temari gave a small shrug of her shoulders. ❝I could ask if they wanted to lend a hand, or at least use them as a reference if needed. I would hate to add more work to their days.❞
