I look at every experience as a learning experience. So, every day is like going back to school and negotiating the things you thought you knew with the new things that you’re learning and expanding your heart and mind. Your acting muscle is the muscle of empathy. I just feel like I’m working really hard, and I love it.
I’m too lazy for dating. Why can’t someone materialize out of nowhere and agree that we should spend the rest of our lives together

TARGARYEN WEEK | day iv (one event or period) Dance of the Dragons
The Dance of the Dragons was a civil war during Targaryen rule of the Seven Kingdoms. A war of succession between Aegon II and his half-sister Rhaenyra over their father Viserys I’s throne, the war was fought from 129 AC to 131 AC. It saw the deaths of both rival monarchs, and the crowning of Rhaenyra’s son, Aegon III.

THIS IS THE MOST EMBARRASSING THING I’VE EVER SEEN I WISH I COULD BREATHE
i am obsessed with the idea of an article about an american artist being written the way american journalists write about foreign artists
As we sit down to chat, I am struck by the Americanness of his features (he looks like he has 64 teeth instead of 32) and demeanor (he is charmingly obnoxious). He is sporting a purple and gold synthetic fabric shirt. “LeBron James,” he says, hand on his chest, “love that dude.” [A/N LeBron James is a player from a local basketball team called The Los Angeles Lakers] – it is not uncommon, even to this day, for Americans to retain old-fashioned values and beliefs such as sport idolatry. His American accent is very thick, almost unintelligible, but his humorous nature transcends any language barrier, at least until we delve into the topic of his tragic childhood. “We had no bidet,” he admits, his blushing cheeks betraying his embarrassment, “and we used to eat frozen croissants and store-bought ragù bolognese.” He looks somber now, the ancestral sorrow visible on his American face. “It was just really hard,” he says after a short pause, tears now welling in his eyes, “to grow up without the privilege of underage smoking and tramways like all the European kids.”
This reminds me of the time when a Finnish newspaper wrote and article of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin visiting Helsinki in the style of media reporting on what women wear. Here is my earlier translation of the article:
Partner of an American model visiting Helsinki wore a red tie for the occasion
The partner of an American photo model who recently visited Finland entertained true to his style in Helsinki. The partner is a flamboyant ex-reality-tv star, who had chosen a dark suit and a red tie to wear.
The gentleman of mature age is known as a man who likes to shock and doesn’t hide his feelings. It would be fun to see him take more risks with his clothing.
The partner of a well-known Pori-native poet* had also assumed dark colours. This father of three who has repeatedly been elected “the sexiest man in Finland” was dressed in a navy blue suit and matching shoes. Lighter choice of clothing might have been more pleasant for the wearer in the scorching weather. The long sleeves caused some bafflement.
The partners had a lot of mutual official activities during the day. It seems that their meeting went well, though their public images differ significantly. Fatherhood unites them.
A Russian grandfather known for his risque photos, linked to female athletes in his homeland, brought an exotic flavour to the summit. In 2017 this handsome fella visited Savonlinna where he “rivalled the willowherb flowers”. Though known for his mouth often being a stern line, he cracked an unusually cheerful smile at the end of Helsinki summit.
