After Sunggyu had finished giving the good-looking young man what he had ordered, he had ducked back to throw some funnel cake in the fryer this time as the vendor bustled about dealing with the flood of customers which had come in, entranced by the delicious smell of artery-clogging treats. As he made his way over to place down another tray of the brownies, he noticed a curious girl peeking through the window at them. He vaguely recognized her, but had never spoken to her yet. “Hey, would you like one?” He asked with an inviting smile. “If you work here, I’ll give you one on the house. Just don’t tell anyone~”
Ji-Eun smiled, then realising that she hadn't smiled at someone in a while. She looked at the warm expression on the man's face and felt... happiness. Happiness, which seemed to cease to exist ever since... waking up here. Ji-Eun nodded excitedly, while instinctively wiping the tears that unknowingly welled up in her eyes.
"R-r-really?"
