Quick summary:

20 students were choosen to attend Dreams Peak Academy for their talent and effort. But they ended up trapped in the school and forced to play the killing game.

Dreamronpa Prologue - A Rude Awakening

I sit on a stool in my kitchen, awaiting a letter to arrive at my door. "A letter about what?" I can guess you're asking.. You'll see! Oh and who am I?I am Leafy, The Ultimate Nurse!

I hear a knock at my door, that must be the letter! I grab the letter and open it with my envelope opener. I pull the letter out excitedly hoping it to be what I think it is..

It is! It reads:

"You have been accepted to Dreams Peak Academy.

There is a bus scheduled to take all students to the school, once all students arrive there the bus will take you to the school.

Sincerely, Dreams Peak Academy"

I jump up and down excitedly as I gather my things to go to the bus stop. They wrote the place where the bus stop is located below the signature.

I arrive at the bus stop to see three other people there: A fire, a tennis ball, and a golf ball. I must've arrived early! I mean it is like 4:30 in the afternoon and the bus should arrive at like 7pm.. I chuckle to myself and begin trying to strike a conversation with the others.

"Hi there!"

I yell over to them cheerily. The tennis ball turns around to look at me, the golfball then looks at me.

"Hello."

The golf ball replies in a monotone voice, she sounds angry for some reason..?

"Oh hi!"

The tennis ball replies, much more expressive! They both seem nice..

"Hey there!"

I hear a scratchy voice call over, I turn around to see the fireball waving.

"So.. what's all your names..?"

I ask kindly, the golf ball speaks up.

"Well, my name is Golf Ball and this is Tennis Ball."

Then the fireball replies.

"I'm Firey!"

I then introduce myself.

"Well nice to meet you all, I'm Leafy!"

I think for a minute, knowing I've forgotten something..

Oh right!

"So.. what's all your ultimates?"

I ask curiously.

"O-oh! I don't have an ultimate, I'm just the photographer.."

Firey chuckles, strange..

Golf Ball narrows her eyes at him, but responds.

"I am The Ultimate Scientist!"

She replies boldly, Tennis Ball then begins to speak.

"And I'm The Ultimate Inventor!"

He responds happily, then I stated my ultimate.

"I'm The Ultimate Nurse! Oh, look there comes more people! Look guys!"

I say energetically as I spot a water droplet and a needle walk our way.

"Hi you two! How are you?"

I question happily.

"Oh- Hi there!"

The needle replies as the water droplet waves at me.

"So.. What are your names and ultimates?"

I ask excitedly, the water droplet is clearly taken aback by how hyper I am..

"Well, I'm Needle and this is Teardrop! O-oh also, she can't talk so she uses sign, don't be surprised if she doesn't talk."

Needle advises me- and really everyone else- with a soft smile as Teardrop nods.

"I am The Ultimate Dressmaker, and Teardrop is The Ultimate Writer!"

Teardrop makes movements with her hands that I assume is sign.

"Oh she just said-"

Needle begins until Golf Ball interrupts her..

"I know what she is saying, I am not dumb!"

She huffs.

Good thing I see more people coming so we don't have to deal with that rude remark.. I'm not good with conflict.

I see a piece of wood, a building block, a pen, an eraser, a coin, a thumbtack, and a rock.

I hear Golf Ball gasp from behind me.

"Rocky!"

She yells, supposedly happy? Its hard to tell her emotions from her voice..

I see the rock- I think his name is Rocky..?- run over to Tennis Ball and Golf Ball happily.

I look back over to see the building block about to trip the piece of wood with the eraser recording it?

The piece of wood falls over and starts crying as the building block laughs hysterically.

I run over to try comforting the piece of wood. Through his crying I was able to get his name, Woody.

A nasally voice calls out.

"What happened!?"

The thumbtack had spotted the scene and walked over.

"U-uh Building Block-.. o-or whatever his name is-... tripped Woody!"

I reply nervously.. she helps me bring Woody onto his feet.

We take him to the bench and then begin chatting with some of the others like Firey, the coin (whose name is Coiny), and Needle.

A bit after everyone had arrived and I met everyone the bus arrived and we all got in, It came a bit late so it's about time I'd fall asleep.. I went ahead and took a nap.

I awoke to Firey shaking me awake, I looked around to see that the bus had freaking DISAPPEARED???

"What happened??"

I asked, panic laced in my voice.

"I-I don't know! I just woke up and the bus was gone!"

I look around to see we're close to the school, but there's also a GLASS SHIELD??? it's like we're in a snow globe..

I call over some of the people I know like Pin, Coiny, Firey, and Needle to explore with me. I see Golf Ball leading people to break into the school..? The rest of the people are trying to break out of the glass shield-..
