We're not selling t-shirts we're selling hope. Me and the few people who help me with this brand come from Regent Park, a neighbourhood that continues to be known more for violent crime and sloppy gentrification than anything else. We were lucky enough to find our path and our outlets, but there is still a generation of young people in our neighbourhood looking for theirs. Our objective is not only to empower them through education(by way of supporting Pathways To Education) but also give them hope for living a happy successful life beyond the stereotypes of our neighboured. We want to show them that greatness can be reached from even the humblest of starts. We want to be the mixers of the cement that the next generation will use to build their dreams with. There are young people like @fcktg @bibii_ano @yescene who are testiments to the level of talent that can and will be cultivated right out of Regent Park. Believe me when I say there are more where they came from! My name is Andre. I'm the founder of Drefitoriginals and I'm proud to say that I'm from Southside Regent Park, 15 Belshaw Place, across from the big parking lot, right beside the old laundry mat. That was were I had some of the most fun times of my life and learned some of the most important lessons of my life. That is the place I will always call home and the place I want more than anything to be known for something more than what it's currently known for. That is what you are supporting when you wear Drefitoriginals proudly.
