I've seen u say that u had already viewed Uraume as a child even before that one bonus chapter was released. Was it because of their appearance or something that was said in the manga? Or just an interpretation? I swear I remember them being refered to as a child but I'm not sure if it's the same in the Japanese text.

it's because their deference to sukuna reminds me of how mimiko and nanako are with geto. so to me they've always felt like mentor-ward relationship. when the bonus chapter was released i were nodding my head like yeah gege i saw ur vision 😭

im not sure if the japanese text mention it before the bonus chapter, but in that chapter Sukuna does refer to them as 童 (child)

on my tomodachi island gojo has a huge crush on queen marika, it reminded me of your blog lol

i actually had to stage some intervention to stop my marika mii from getting too close to my sukuna and gojo miis 😭 they keep asking to move in together 😭😭 like... it's the only time when i actually feel a silver of annoyance at sukugo because no please stay away from my wife. you two have each other :/

also it's really funny when they use lingo from other fandom cuz why do they say these 😭

Hi! I was wondering what your interpretation of Walter and 621’s relationship is. Based on what I’ve seen of your art and personal comments I think it’s not entirely platonic but when I look at your interpretation I’m not entirely sure what to make of it. I love your writing for them, your designs and comics for them are gorgeous ❤️

i think 621 exists in this strange limbo between almost being their own character vs player self-insert/OC. so i flip flop between interpretations while drawing them.

in the end, whatever definition of their relationship will always be drown out in-between their struggles for ideal and personhood. and unlike Rusty, Ayre, Iguazu or other characters, Walter and 621 have this added dynamic of Walter literally being 621's "owner". it's like a sword hanging on both of their heads. and as i said when it came to ships, i kinda prefer ones where they are equals in some way. so i think the closest to romantic portrayal i have of Walter and 621 is actually the AU where they are both brainwashed by Arquebus 😭

or at the very least when Walter was HAL 826 and recognized not only 621, but also Ayre as humans, not just a tool, not just kindling for the fires. "you earned all the credits. undo the surgery. be normal again." and "you found a friend" are such generational quotes srl. fromsoft's pen must be starting forest fire with those. a final boss that stopped fighting because he loved you. like excuse me???????????

If I recall correctly, I've seen you say that you lived in Japan at some point in your life? It's a personal question so you don't have to answer but I'm curious as to which countries you've been to and how many languages you know + how well you know them?

yeah i lived in Tokyo for ~2 years for grad school! it's actually why i got sucked into jjk again... there's only so much gojo satoru billboards you can be bombarded with every single day before you remember why you love him in the first place.

i mostly travel between China and Japan + Southeast Asian countries + Australia (like... two times only). i can unserstand Chinese to a degree because we share the same language root, my Japanese is like.... enough to order boba tea and Korean is like my language-in-law cuz i work for a Korean studio, so i know a lot of ppl who speak the language and could translate for me. but all in all i do think i have a good understanding of the nuance in those languages since our countries belong in a same culture sphere, which is how im able to read their fanfics.

other than that, vietnamese is my mother tongue and english is... yeah i don't know what to even call this. these days i actually think in english in my head more than vietnamese lol. but i don't really think im native level when it comes to the language.

Very curious about tengen and Gojos relationship in that au, given they’re bonded by fate in canon. And riko and yuki too.. if tengens in school, she def isn’t old enough to need a new vessel sooo.. what are the two girls like?

in my highschool AU they are cousins but aren't really close.

riko is a distant relative and yuki was adopted into a small family within the gojo clan, but she ran away most of the time. however she and riko are close to satoru and the three of them always kinda gang up on tengen (..◜ᴗ◝..)

hii! sorry if you get this question a lot, but i wanted to ask something in preparation for commissioning you when they’re open again as i’m not sure how fast your slots fill up - is visibility easier if i buy a ko-fi? (Or if you have the option for a waitlist but no worries if not ofc)

hi it's ok! dw about it~ usually it fills up within 2-3 days, but it's because i took 10 slots each time i opened comms.

however, lately i feel like that increases the wait time too much for ppl (since payment is upfront, but each request could take up to 1 month, so sometimes the ones at 9 or 10th slot would have to wait nearly half a year), so going forward i'll only take 4-5 slots each time.

if you place the order via ko-fi it's easier to see how many slots are left. but sometimes ppl reach out for me privately and i'll put them on the waitlist and contact them whenever im available so you can do that as well.

edit: extra tangent- for my babykuna design, i have a headcanon that he used to scavenge throwaways materials (especially weapons) for blacksmith forge, since they are the only ones seeing use of his strength & at least paying him (however meager) for his labor. That’s how he learned a lot about weapons & how to use them.

The fire of the forge is similar to the one always burning within him, so he feels a certain sense of closeness to those places (Heian era is also when Japanese swords started having its current curved form, slashing attack is most associated with katana).

Chinese person here. If you use "white moonlight" with that sense, why is Gwynevere not qualified as a "white moonlight" because she's a brunette?

It’s a joke because Malenia/Gwynevere is actually able to be together and Gwynevere happens to be a brunette, as opposed to all other characters having fair hair (while fitting into the “white moonlight” trope).

I’m pointing out how Malenia is the only redhead fav I have that is actually able to be with the person she loves (within my delulu), coincidentally she’s the only one whose love interest doesn’t have fair hair.

it has nothing to do with moonlight *moonlight* 😭

i'd recommend listening to Jeff Chang's White Moonlight! it conveys the sentiment really well ("the white moonlight shines on both ends of the world. in my heart, but not by my side.")
