To be completely honest I would really love to be euthanized. Like I used to be suicidal but scared to die because like what if hell is real but, now I feel like I’d just be relieved to die. When I think about dying I feel kinda euphoric.

every time i post something like this someone gets mad at me but i really don't know what to tell these people. every year we get an influx of people who will enter these spaces for a shared interest in comics that they not only have not read, they often have no interest in reading and sometimes will actively degrade the entire medium to justify not reading them. and if you express any discontent with this arrangement you're the bad guy for not enabling a deeply incurious practice of not wanting to engage with art or its creators beyond digestible abridged versions plastered over slideshows of out of context panels and stolen fanart
This is a hugeeee problem on comic TikTok where people are actively discouraging each other from reading comics and telling each other if they want to learn more about the bat family and other characters to read fanfics and that comics are TOO hard. Also a huge influx of people who are shipping superbat because they think David cornswet and Robert Pattinson are hot (which is whatever do what you want) but they’re making up headcanons for these characters that are SO ooc and not even based on the stuff shown in the movies that you’d have NO idea who they’re talking about if they didn’t tell you. And they’ll argue with comic book readers as if THEYRE wrong for talking about the characters in a complex nuanced way vs reducing them to these wubbified fan fic flanderizations.
I’ll never go on a date again because no one is Covid safe anymore. I wear my mask all the time everywhere it is hard and unpleasant and hot and uncomfortable but I do it anyway.
