week 1 with my new haircut and i already wanna go to a barber to get it shorter LOL

okay now i like my hair again

#LOL #im so particular abt my hair i love it and hate it at the same time #i think the fronts grown out nicely so i like the rest of my hair by association #but the sides are growing out.... i probably need to go to the barber anyway to clean it up #just wondering if i should get it shorter and chop the mullet off #thinking #also ik i just said i liked my hair being longer in the front but id also love to. try it shorter lol #i have a complicated relationship w my forehead

if i pass out at my job today bc im sick and its hot outside and i showed up bc our supervisors pressure us to not take shifts off i wonder if thatll change the policy lol

i could never be a deltarune theorist bc i would have to take a crack at the carol/kris/gaster/knight conspiracy, which just doesnt make any sense to me at all

#whys the knight kidnapping asgore. isnt carol cool with him. cant she just ask him to come into the shelter. does the act of being touched #by the knight inherently change something?#the knight in chapters 3-4 just piss me off also like what r u doing what r ur motivations. what does it add to the story and ur arc to #aurafarm and not attack the characters. do u want toriel or undyne or what. whats happening here.#my mind is just like #what does the knight conspiracy add to deltarunes dissection of fiction and the real workd and how they interact with each other? hm?#but i dont even know what the knight conspiracy is so how would i even analyze it #i was thinking about it and its like. does deltarune need this whole knight and apolcayptic roaring conspiracy?#bc i feel like the tension between the light world (real life) and the dark world (fiction) is great enough on its own to not need a big bad #see chapter 1 and 2. devoid of knight appearances but still clear conflict bw the characters. their problems in the light world. and how #they handle them in the dark world.#whats funny is the roaring makes sense to me!#like yes it seems that deltarune is saying not to completely lose urself in fiction #if the roaring is all about darkness (fiction/stories/not real life wtv) consuming the light world then yes. the roaring makes sense in the #narrative! it conflicts w the protags (or at least susies) wishes to truly live in the dark world and have it overtake real life #so sure. the knight makes sense in the narrative bc its bringing about the roaring. whatever #but then WHY THE CONSPIRACY???? WHY R KRIS AND CAROL IN IT????#why are WE in it and seemingly working against kris but also needed for whatever their plot is?????#ugh. it drives me up the wall. i dont even rlly care who the knight is fr. just why r we in it #the closest i can come up with is this. if the knight is really all about enshrouding the world in darkness then i think #at the very least carol is in it bc she wants dess back. dess died and carol cant handle the grief and would rather live in complete fiction #and denial. if the knight brings about the roaring then maybe she can ignore the reality of her situation completely.#deltarune talks about eternity a lot and carol/susie both seem to want things to last forever/preserve them. so maybe its knight related idk #no clue how kris is in it. and who the knight would be bc the consensus is that the knight is dess. which cant work if dess is. yknow DEAD #and no clue why WE are in it and why GASTERS in it #or how the SHELTER is in it. even.#fuck the weird route i want people to analyze the NORMAL ROUTE THE STORY WANTS U TO GO DOWN #also yes i know that the narrative is only possible bc of the actions of the roaring knight (in chapters 1 and 2)#i am just curious what is the point of it being a whole conspiracy and collaboration between the knight and other lightners including kris #who we actively control

since ch 1 its been my theory that the adults in the light world wont rlly play a big role in the dark world bc deltarune is more focused on the kids and their story but chapter 5 just might prove me wrong

#proven wrong in the sense that he had ample screen time and underwent character development as a result of being in the dark world #not proven wrong in the sense that he didnt have as much screen time as the fun gang and the flowers and were kept separate for most of it #like yeah this is still the kids story. but asgores gonna get some character development too bc hes so involved in. everything else thats #going on
