I remember hearing this song for the first time in 2021. I do hope I sound hipster writing that, I know that the song garnered some extra attraction in recent months. I am a huge fan of Childish Gambino and Donald Glover. I'd like to get into Atlanta again. I think I've watched an episode and a half, but that had to be around two months ago. I watched a video this morning on afro-surrealism in Atlanta and ended up on a full research project on the definition of surrealism and creating a definition for sub-realism. I also think I figured out my sexuality. I think I have to legally tell myself that three times a week.
The thing is that I fit the textbook definition of a lesbian, homosexual, gay and queer person. I am exclusively attracted to women, both sexually and romantically. The problem I have is that I feel that I don't fit into the community. I'm not into the whole masc/butch thing I don't want to feel like a "bad lesbian" for it. I'm glad that no one will ever see this but myself since this could be problematic or perceived as weird since I don't even know anything about my own community. I remember hearing Me and Your Mama for the first time when I was blazing through Childish Gambino albums over last summer. I think this song comes up first or second on the track list.
I played it over and over again in my bedroom in Tennessee. I wanted to have something nice to associate with the South, and now I do. Even though I cried a billion times there, I still always came back to my headphones. I'm so glad I downloaded it for the plane ride since Grandpa turned off the WiFi. I honestly have a hard time liking them. I'm disappointed in what they turned my mother into.
She passes off problems caused by other people as her own fault. I haven't played Mortal Kombat in ages. I think the last time I played was over winter break, and I didn't even get to really play since Grandpa and Grandma have their whole violence thing going on with them. Grandpa acts like he's above the "younger generations" for being in the army, even though he didn't even do anything. It's so disrespectful to say in front of my dad since he comes from a family of veterans and war heroes who did what they did in order to be accepted by their country.
I can't believe the things that Grandpa says to E and I even though our family is traumatized from war. He talks crap about Muslims and Arabs all the time even though our family is Semitic. He clearly doesn't belong in our house and I hate when they come over. I remember when he tried to convince E and I that "those Arabs enslaved us Europeans!"
Realistically, Grandpa B would consider "us Europeans" to be Arab because they really weren't Europeans. Besides, who is he to lump my family and his implanted self together? His family has probably lived in the United States for hundreds of years, whereas my family prospers due to the hard work our ancestors put in to give us a great life.
I really like Doja Cat, despite the controversy. I guess I believe her whole thing happened, but I think it's less of her fault and more the fault of the manipulative men on the Internet.
I really don't know anything about the situation though, but it doesn't matter since no one's going to be reading this crap.
