cold as ice // elsa&pitch
Solitude. Who could have known it would suddenly make everything right?
For the first time, she could be herself here in her ice palace, tucked away in the mountain far from all who would hate her, fear her, hunt her. A part of her was lonely, yes, but then, Elsa had been alone her whole life. This was only different in the fact that she was lonely and free and that-- well, that made up for everything. Didn't it?
Didn't it?
Arendelle was covered in snow and ice and it was she who was to blame for that-- she and her complete lack of self-control. All of her fears were coming true and as she had desperately sent Anna, her beloved sister, and her friends away, Elsa retreated further from everything. She climbed the steps of her palace until she reached the central room on the top floor where she back herself into a wall and slid her way down.
"What have I done... ?" she muttered under her breath, pulling her knees closer, and as she drowned in the knowledge of consequence-- consequence for stepping out of her room that fateful coronation morning, it seemed as if the shadows drew in, closer and closer, slipping along the icy walls and floors of her hideaway.
ooc; like this if you'd like a short starter! =]
an escape to remember // elsa & the doctor
The Doctor, upon a small check, wasn’t sure where he’d landed the TARDIS this time. Sure, the temperature read it was cold, which was the very definition of the planet he’d been aiming for— but the coordinates were all off. Then again, the Time Lord could never stop himself from taking a look at where he’d stopped; whether it was the place originally meant for or not.
All of time and space— he could save the planet he had in mind until later.
With that decision and thought in mind, the Doctor made a few final adjustments on the console. Then, turned to take his coat from the railing around the platformed area, and made his way to the door— the smile clear on his face as he opened the doors…
— Just it faded just a short time after the blue box opened. “Ah! Oh! Cold and dark. Well, not too dark, I suppose—” the Doctor stopped, noticing another figure in the room; near the window of light. “— Hello?”
She was locked in, the door had not opened, and Elsa truly did not know what to expect. Certainly not the strange blue box which had appeared there. It was like magic, the way it had seemingly phased into reality that way. She wasn't sure whether or not such a thought comforted her. Never before had she met another like herself, after all, and while the thought seemed appealing, it was equally terrifying. Magic was dangerous. It was her power which afflicted Arendelle now.
Suddenly, the doors on the box were opening and Elsa's silent look of confusion twisted into something else. Fear, perhaps, something which felt all too familiar to her. She had felt it consistently throughout the entirety of her life and it was something she could simply never forget.
Still-- something about this seemed different.
A man with a funny hairstyle, a silly bowtie, and an unnatural smile-- unnatural because they were in a dungeon. Seconds later, however, he seemed to realize that, or at least that something was very off. Instinctively, Elsa moved despite there being nowhere to go. She moved away, passing the light of the window briefly until she was near to the corner. The tug of the chains pulled her forwards again briefly, but she kept the distance wide as she was able to.
"How did you--" It didn't matter. She considered telling him to go, but the longer she stayed here, the more danger Arendelle was in. Perhaps distance could stop this eternal winter if nothing else.
"I need help."
A sketchy plan for an Elsa painting. I’m saving it for after a final critique on Tuesday as an energy boost.
Let it go

The two sisters as a one big icicle (sorta) ;) Hope you like it!
▨ —— ☃ As the doors opened before her, Anna’s eyes widened, alight with a child-like wonder. Breathless, wordless — for the first time ever, Anna had nothing to say.
This place. It was all so вєαυтιfυℓ. so мαgι¢αℓ. and it was all Elsa’s.
Turning, she strode forward, each step landing on the slick surface with careful precision.
❝—— Elsa,❞
She breathed her name out, bright blue eyes fixed upon the beauty of her sister. ❝Elsa, why didn’t you— Please. Just talk to me! Now that I know, we can be sisters again! I’m not— Why didn’t you tell me? I’m not…I’m not afraid of you. I could never be afraid of you.❞
❝Please. Elsa, I’m here for you.❞ ❝Don’t shut me out. Not again.❞
How wildly different she must have appeared to her sister. She supposed she'd always been lovely. As a Princess, and now as a Queen, she was required to be, but that had never been her. Not truly. This was Elsa. She was in her element. She was herself for the first time in her life, only now... now Anna was here and that blissful feeling was shattered and replaced with terror.
She couldn't hurt her again. She couldn't.
No, no, no. . .
Elsa's blue eyes widened with each step her sister took toward her and it took every ounce of willpower she had left not to step back. She knew that Anna was not afraid of her and that was, in a sense, the root of the problem. She could never wish to be feared. That was what had driven her out here in the first place -- fear. But if Anna feared her, she would stay away. She would be safe.
"That's just it, Anna! You've never been afraid! But you saw... you saw everything. You saw what I'm capable of. I don't want to hurt you." She paused, finally turning and starting up the back staircase, picking up the skirt of her dress and squeezing her eyes shut for a split second. "Go. It's not safe here."

Elsa’s transformation.
Everyone thinks that I have it all But it's so empty living behind these castle walls If I should tumble, If I should fall Would anyone hear me Screaming behind these castle walls There's no one here at all Behind these castle walls
