'Still-life With Oranges' (1868)
"Remember that summer? You said the ocean looked like God spilled his glitter." "It still does."
skin against silence
your breath the only rhythm
my world in three lines
in any ocean
no depths and shades layered blue
reach your diving gaze
Birdsong Blues
I was laying on the floor with you,
laughing as birds started to sing.
I turned to memorize your eyelashes,
discarded pages crumpled beneath me.
That’s when it began to slip away
in a feeling so gentle and powder blue.
My walls of sand
sliding into your ocean,
wrinkled white flag pulled high
like I had always prayed for heaven.
Golden, flowing voice
whispered
I thought I misheard.
I reached out to run my fingers through it,
equations cascading over my open palms,
wondering
would I be washed away
by sunrise?
My okay hung like a promise
when your hand slid up to cradle my neck.
My eyes pleaded
to be kept
in your morning glory.
Now,
I wonder what your mornings bring
in steaming, glistening dew.
When your windows fog,
and it’s too early
for memories
and birdsong blues
do you think about
me and you?
success became the only language we all understood
dark light bubbled
folded, troubled
pressures untranslated
breathing and suffocated
from wet shadow lips dancing
shift until fit
throw it
up
catch it
down
head held, drowned
silenced sound
thrumming
primal beats drumming
in your pillow
can you hear me coming?
spun heart strings twisted taut
tracing space, another knot
strumming
light fingers thumbing
weaving through
work me in
your net
pull me up to your sky!
Your pain my pain
I feel like I lost 7 years tonight. Like this brain is the brain of my pre-treatment self. It's horrifying. What is happening to me?? please let it pass quickly.
on the particularly dark nights, when the mindfulness gloves come off, I just want to be taken care of without giving up any control hahahaha take care of me the RIGHT way
