He’s laying flat on the floor, face first. His hair is splayed out over him and also the floor in a long curtain of browns and reds. A low mournful sound leaves him.

“The laptop shorted out when I was finishing edits on the newest video.” If a person could become any closer to the floor than he was, they’d literally have to phase their particles through the boards. “And I forgot to saveeeeeeeeee.”

".....How big are your tubs?"

“Man.... I used to love to swim. But after that incident a few months ago at the lake, I’ve got this weird anxiety about getting in the water. I just want this things I loved to be like-- fun again, you know?”

What would be your fursona?

"Hmmmmmm. Probably an irish setter or something? They're around the same colors with long hair, and I've been told I'm pretty dog adjacent."

  “......” He looks thoughtful tapping his chin in thought for a beat. “You know, I don’t know if that counts, but I also don’t know enough to dispute that. So either way, you’re valid!”

"...... Do I count if I've drawn a commission of a furry before?" He's thinking now. "I mean I DO think they're neat."

“Man, it’s weird having those showers sometimes where like-- you get out and you feel completely dry in seconds. Not complaining of course with hair like mine-- but still.”

"Touch my hand! That is real human skin that you are currently feeling! I'm not a ghost."

Mono nods, entranced at the mention of work. “A job? What exactly do you do? Is there a specific site you’re going to then…?” The only types of jobs he’s been on where he was alone at night was with Vivi. Was this person similar?

Then the thumbs up. Mono frowns a little. Ah, okay. Maybe he should just leave it be.

“Uhhhhh.” Jace paused at the question. This was Tempo, so maybe it wouldn’t be weird to admit too, but this person seemed so-- nice! What if they were like-- nice in a ‘you really shouldn’t trespass way’ too?

But then the guy’s frowning, and okay, maybe he feels a little bad about that. “Well-- you see. I-- kind of make documentaries of sorts, I guess you could say? About abandoned places sometimes. It’s a side job that I really like. And there’s this place a few streets from here I’d really like to poke. So I’m probably going to check it out.” He smiles. “So you know. Job stuff.”

Arthur rubbed at his forehead, blinking away stars. His head hurt like hell and he was pretty sure he felt a bump forming. “Ah..y-yeah, yeah. im fine. Im good”

Jace hovered still, hands fumbling. “Are you sure? That looks like a pretty nasty fall.” He glanced upwards, towards the ceiling, and his flashlight rolled in his hands. “I hope I didn’t startle you any. How did you fall?”

The iPod vibrates, fast and hard, as if it was purposefully trying to slip out of Jace’s grasp. The vibration doubles as buttons were pressed, now producing a light static that shocks Jace’s fingers.

Jace frowned at the feeling of weight, in a thoughtful way. Something was definitely up with the little device. “Ow--!” He fumbled it when it shocked him, mostly out of shock himself, before it slipped between the fingers he’d caught it with to slip that last inch to the ground. It was hard to keep hold of when it moved like that.

Unsure what else to do, he crouched by it and prodded it with a finger.

The iPod’s screen lights up for a few seconds before blanking again. It’s incredibly heavy in Jace’s hand.

Jace hums cheerily as he opens it, It was glowing, so that seemed cool. Maybe it would play something like the spirits of the dead like a spirit radio? He started pressing the buttons, to see what was on the device.

What sky are you?

Blue Sky

You go with the flow. You don't hesitate to show your excitement and happiness, but you try not to let others see the negative whether it's anger, hurt, and sadness. Some days it's easy to be carefree. Other days you're worn out from trying to keep up a facade. You won't hesitate to lend someone a hand, an ear, or a shoulder to cry on. But it's difficult for you to ask for help. You have a welcoming and open personality that others can't help but feel drawn to.

Mono takes a step back, realizing he’s a bit too close - enough to catch sight of the camera. “I- I’m not going anywhere actually. I just noticed you here, and I didn’t want to risk you being alone and getting hurt.”

His eyes drop to the camera again, and he bites his lip, “what are you doing out here?”

Jace shuffles his feet. “Uh.... well. I’m... kind of out here for a job.” He looks up at the guy-- he’s so tall! Wow! He hardly ever saw people taller than him.

“I should be fine, really! Thanks for the concern, but I’m all good.” He offered a thumbs up.
