“Well, as expected, New York is vastly different. It’s been a long while since I was last here.”
“Seems that’s the general consensus for most people around here. How long has it been since you’ve been to New York?” the medical examiner questioned, staring at the stranger. He didn’t look to be a zombie, but then again, who ever really did? Tan and dye meant that it was too hard to find someone who blatantly looked like a zombie outside of Blaine and Liv for the most part.

“Business. I hope.” Bram chuckled. “One of my enrollment counselors suggested just becoming pro soccer.” He shrugged. “But I always wanted like a cafe or something. As much as I love soccer, I feel like all the travelling would be hard.”
“Can’t say I was ever much of a business man.” he said with a shrug, looking over at the kid. “but you should definitely do what makes you happy. What about the traveling would be hard? I mean I’m sure they pay for it and all.”
"At your wedding? How bold." He laughed, glad to have someone else to talk to in his life. "That's cute though. Very romantic." He said with a nod. "Its amazing, having someone understand you without even trying, right? Even when it's tough, its the best."
“So I decided to go with Columbia out of my acceptances. It’s program is a little better for what I have in mind.” Bram said, grinning as he glanced at the list of books he would need. “I’m a mix of emotions about this.”
"Congrats. Columbia is a good school. What are you majoring in?" He questioned the kid, maybe offering his help if it was possible.

“Um, I don’t think so. All my clothes fit.”
“We can always fix that. There’s no way that I’m not going to show off that I’m dating the hottest guy pretty much in existence. Maybe you could borrow one of my tighter tops.”

Alec couldn’t help but smile before nodding. “Well, we met when we were trying to help my brother’s friend find some information out about her mom and we kind of connected, I guess. I always knew I was gay, but like, when I met him, I knew it. I knew he was going to be my boyfriend even though I tried to fight my feelings, because my parents don’t like the fact that I am with a guy..”
“that sounds cute. He sounds irresistible.” He laughed, glad to have someone to at least joke around with a little, other than Major. He was definitely head over arse for the zombie soldier but he knew that he needed more than just one friend in his life. “So you resisted him? For how long? What won you over?”
New York is fuckin’ expensive. Looks like I need to pick up my shit over here
“It is. I could always use a lab assistant in some experiments I’m working on, if you’re interested?”

Major nodded at him once he took the picture. “That is the best looking picture ever!” He replied excitedly before nodding. “That is such an amazing idea! Yes, let’s do it.”
“We are incredibly attractive.” He reasoned with Major. “Perfect. Do you have something tight to wear? I want to show off my gorgeous boy.” He winked.

“My sister would probably love that story, she likes to hear all about romance and what not.” Alec replied before nodding. “Well, I am very happy for you and your best friend.”
“Thank you. Tell me more about you and your boyfriend? I am used to having to hear the girls in my life talking about their men and one of them was my current boyfriend and the other was a pile of zombie garbage that didn’t deserve her.” He said with a shrug.

Alec nodded at him before giving him a soft smile. “Sounds like you really love him a lot.”
“He was my best friend before we ever even considered getting together.” He explained. “We have been through hell and back. All our friends have. We’ve only survived because of each other and I don’t know what I would do without him.” He admitted. “But I”m grateful to have him because if I was alone here in New York I would go insane.”

Major couldn’t help but smile softly at Ravi. He would of never expected to fall for his best friend, let alone would the guy he interested in him. That was pretty amazing. “Alright, Alright.” He replied before kissing him back.
“Smile.” He demanded after the kiss broke, immediately snapping a picture for his instagram page. “That should get us plenty of likes and show my haters that I’m much better without them.” He drawled, smirking at his boyfriend. “We should go to a club.” He decided with a grin. “We’re too hot not to find a club.”
"Well if that's the case, my boyfriend definitely wins that. His name is Major and he is the best boyfriend ever. And he's a badass." Ravi loved calling Major his boyfriend. It was perfect.
“For anyone who missed me, Magnus forced me to actually sleep and well, I may have slept for almost two days. straight…”
"That much sleep sounds amazing." Ravi pointed out, watching the stranger. "Magnus sounds like a good person, whoever he is.

“at least you’re able to contain it then though, right?” zoe nodded her head as she began to start to understand them a bit more. “i mean, you shouldn’t feel like you have to rush to do it. it’s not easy and it’s not going to be easy, but you should do it when you’re ready. my friends are probably still back in canada too, and it’s not fun to have to be away from them for this long.”
“yeah. I took a cure. but it didn’t really work all the way. It stopped me from becoming a full blooded zombie, but every once in a while, I get the urge.” He explained. “Yeah, you’re right. I should do a whole thing, right? Grand romantic gesture? Definitely in between brains though because the last thing I need is to be telling Major I’m in love with him while he’s a horny librarian or something equally bad.” He pointed out, groaning. “Gonna be a real thread the needle situation.”

Major couldn’t help but smile at Ravi. “Aw stop it.” He giggled. “Now you can make out with me any time you want.” He replied with a wink. “You are right. You look amazing.”
“I can do that, you’re right.” He drawled, a lazy look over at Major to enjoy the view. “Think of the likes we’d get, a picture of the two of us. Or better yet, a video of just that.” He leaned in to kiss Major, hovering over the other’s lips. “Just don’t touch the hair or wrinkle this shirt.” He warned, before he closed the distance between them.

“Warm Bodies? Love that movie!” she replied, finding this whole zombie thing even more intriguing. “So they don’t look all scary and chasing after you unless they don’t eat? Good to know. Do you, like, carry around pieces of brain to chuck in their mouths when that happens?” she said, not really understanding how this all works. They had to get the brains from somewhere, right? “Help from a stranger is usually the best. We don’t have to be strangers anymore. We could introduce ourselves and start from there. I’ll go first.” she smiles, “I’m Summer.”
“It was a good movie. Have you ever watched Zombie High? That was my friend and I’s favorite TV show. It’s terrible trash, but I love it.” He said with a grin. “NO, I don’t. But typically they aren’t that frantic. Full on Zombie mode comes when they’re in danger or pissed. And that’s just a matter of calming them down. When they haven’t eaten is the real problem. “Nice to meet you, Summer. I’m Ravi. How long have you been in New York?” he didn’t mind small talk. It meant he didn’t have to think about what he felt about Major for a little while.
