it was bullshit, in his opinion, why he was here. why he’d even agreed to it as well was still a damned mystery to him.. but so be it, he supposed. but at least liling was still with him anyway, and the vampire turns to the baku as she questions him after a moment, though he’s still pulling out books from his case– extremely old ones at that too. “because apparently my history collection is valuable to this shit hole.” he muttered in response as he checked over the books to make sure none of the were actually falling apart. a few of them had before, but it was easy to just get someone in his clan to rewrite it and remake it anyway. “figured it could so some of the younger ones good too.. some of them at least need a little education, anyway.” and thirst control lessens. that too. “there’s plenty of students here for you to prey on.”
With a far too dramatic eye roll, she listened to Seung explain yet again the sort of valid reason why they were there. Even if she would rather be anywhere else. Though the last part just had her huff and direct her attention away from the books in his hands and back to him. “You’re overestimating how many beings I can actually feed on here. Vampires and ghosts don’t even sleep, demons are like a case by case because so many of them don’t have nightmares thanks to the big man downstairs, same with familiars. And don’t even get me started on reapers.” Already Liling could feel the primal hunger in her spike, living surrounded by vampires who she couldn’t just kill without a second thought hadn’t helped much with keeping her diet healthy. “Ugh we should have brought some good meals with us, I’m going to have to go off campus half the time to get a snack.” With a petulant pout that shouldn’t belong to someone of her age, she looks up at the vampire. “Have they at least given us some nice living quarters?”
