Does anyone genuienly love their special interest? I see a lot of people saying "I hate my special interest in [media]" and while I would say I am critical of my interests I wouldn't say I hate them or that they're mid, because they are special and interesting to me.

This reminds me of something funny. I like to think theres a sort of harmony with the themes within each of my interests. This includes the "Quirky Mother inspired RPGs" such as Undertale --> OFF --> Lisa (the first) --> Omori --> Yume 2kki <-- the works. Omori can be also rounded in with the "colourful yet horrorfilled" in a sense if you take the horror part out of "psychological horror". Basically, colourful stuff that catches almost anyones eye. Welcome Home also follows this part with the "colourful Psychological Horror" aspect plus being an ARG just ticks most of the boxes. I was on a roll with these patterns till a little sfm movie catches my eye and bashes my head against the wall that is Team Fortress 2. It sure broke the scaffold, I don't hate it for that, more so interested that I got intensely fixated on that shit. A FPS shooter that does NOT take itself seriously was not on the schedule. Nor was Ultrakill which came shortly after the ramble was great, lmao
