hi guys can i say tdl is just so intriguing to me or will i get tomatoes thrown at me
this might be obvious but i like to theorize/hc that tdl spent so much time solely around tco (and the fact that tdl's just an antisocial villain) that she probably thinks the only kind of relationship that exists is that which she had with tco. she can't wrap her head around the idea of something else
like she could never model familial relations or friendships after anything she's experienced nor seen because she's too busy having fun terrorizing sticks that do have all those relationships.
but back to that relation-modeling. i'd imagine tdl assumed victim should've done things with tdl the way tco did with her. let's take ava13 for example: why would tdl genuinely offer partnership with victim after their brutal fight? why would she think victim would take it when clearly nobody would work with someone who had killed their wife?
probably because tdl would've had violent fights and disagreements with tco when they were partners, but they always "made up" because tco would've had no other choice (not to tdl's knowledge though).
if tdl's only other partner was tco, of course she's going to think her new partner would do what tco would do. if tco's the only person she's ever been around, and if she's chasing after a replacement to tco in her life, she would undoubtedly expect this replacement to be exactly like tco
