Rather than gather food on its own, it prefers to gives orders to the Unifly swarm orbiting it. These will protect it at all costs. Multifly evolves into Amplifly at level 40.

The swarming Unifly form a coordinated colony surrounding the original swarm leader, which guides the colony's every move. The swarm moves like a floating liquid; if you were to throw an object at an Amplifly, the swarm would simply open a hole in itself to dodge it.
