I can’t believe that:

Brienne and Jaime had a development that was thrown out of the window, Brienne was basically used and put aside short after forgetting all the key points to their relationship. Jaime left her crying alone in the courtyard and god knows how much it will take her to heal.

Theon and Sansa could have easily had a happy ending together, they had mended their bond and learnt to trust one another, Theon helped her escape from their abuser and was ready to fight for her family. But all Sansa was left with was his cold body after the battle.

Missandei and Grey Worm spent their whole lives as slaves and instead of getting their happy ending on the beaches of Naath, he had to watch her get beheaded right in front of his eyes.

Arya and Gendry were each other’s family for a long time, they trusted one another with secrets no one else knew and always tried to protect the other while on the run. And after all this they were given a brief moment of happiness and love just for it to be broken to favour the storyline of Arya is still just a killing machine with a list to complete. who knows if they’ll reunite now

Yet the incestuous couple got to have their reunion, cry and share soft touches before dying in each other’s arms????? Are we for real D&D ?

I'm so disappointed in everyone. For years we saw Bob and Eliza as nothing but kind, loving and caring people. Loved by their familys, the cast, everyone. Bob has helped so many of you and it takes only one person which possible false accusations or at least not telling the whole truth to turn your back on them? It's just sad.

I think the thing that pisses me off the most about none of the women in GOT having an endgame romance in canon or even dying at the hands of their lover is that it only strengthens this dumb idea that love is weakness and that in order to be a powerful woman you should be on your own.

Which is utter bullshit. I’m done with the whole “… is a strong independent woman who don’t need no man” mind set.

You don’t have to need a man, you can be a powerful woman and have a love interest. Potentially they could all be in loving relationships while fighting or being in positions of power.

Having a man by their side doesn’t mean automatically reducing them to submissive wives who knit by the fire because that was never what they were as characters.

And it is pretty clear that it was written by men, because take Suzanne Collins as an example: after suffering and fighting all her life, Katniss finally finds peace in the family she’s created with Peeta but that doesn’t undermine her character or strength in any way, so why couldn’t they do the same?

You can love and be a powerful female character at the same time, stop this stupid trope.
