Okay, I’m upset.

I grew up with this product. My mum recommended it to me as an all-safe make up remover. Nowadays I usually use coconut oil, but I bought this out on a limb when I at my boy’s a few weeks ago. This product, in addition to using my normal routine of nightly coconut oil and morning moringa oil clogged my pores completely! I have (what I can only assume is) milia around my eyes from this shit. Now I’m stuck smearing honey and rose petal on my sockets like some kind of troubled greek mythos.

Just so heartbroken and that products don’t last thru generations.

Herbivore Face Oils

not usually a fan of face oils, and haven’t been using them lately because the couple weeks I ended up using too much Moringa and Coconut oil, so my sensitive and easily angered irish skin needed a break.

I don’t like the Orchid one too much, but my skin is not at all oily which is what it’s really targeting. 

Lapus is my favourite, I used it religiously last winter (both back home on the east coast in New England and here in Seattle). Not only did it save my starving skin while I was home for winter, but it literally cleared up any (if not all) irritations I had out here in the PNW. I remember waking up on my friend’s old futon after a night of heavy drinking. Staggering over to the bathroom to brush my teeths/drink from the sink/try not to throw up I noticed my nose breaking out a bit. Threw some oil on it and it was gone before noon.

I’ve just started using the Phoenix one. Though since I’m taking a break from all oils I won’t be using it for a bit, I hope to review it soon <333

Skin Drink: Lush Cosmetics

Great for hangovers or nightly use on dry skin. I find it best to put it on over Moringa oil at night to keep my ridiculously dry skin from just cracking and falling off of my face completely. Not a huge fan of the packaging. Though I get that Lush is doing a whole recycled package thing, it’s an expensive product and a lot of it gets stuck in the spiral stairs of the jar cap. That being said, if the case was a little larger this probably wouldn’t happen. It certainly doesn’t happen to the other Lush lotions’ and whatnot that come in bigger pots.

Firstly, from doing some internet research, I’m pretty sure the brand is “My Scheming” but I can only read english and cyrillic. I’ve used this brand before (though still unsure of the name whoops), they’re pretty solid. I like their snail essence masks a lot (the texture is much more jelly-like than the tony moly ones). The illustrations on the packaging are very cute, childish and dreamlike (i.e. my favourite aesthetic)

I fuckin love this mascara. It’s light but easily layered. Can’t emphasize how perfect it was for the lower lashes. I’ve got really long, thin, eyelashes so this was really great for me; no clumps no mess. The brush is so thin and delicate it reaches each individual lash with elegance. However, it’s expensive and the amount is oh so small. If this product were anything but mascara it would easily be a staple in my collection---Because mascara expires so quickly and I’m a cheap date, I will painfully admit that it’s not worth the price.

Great sheet mask for the price. Though I’ll always prefer tony moly, this one was very hydrating, soothing, and smelled of honey (and some jelly, so kind of like an ultra sweet sandwich). Good for a quick pick me up~
