I try not to ask for much from others if I can help it, but my family and I have been struck with a sudden tragedy yesterday morning. I came home directly after work to find first responders and a coroner gathered around my house yesterday morning to find out my father had passed away. I never got to tell him good night the night before as I was at work when he went to sleep, or good bye or that I love him before I had to leave for work at 3:30 in the morning.
All that I ask is that you support my family in our time of need with as little as you can spare. My parents had no nest egg, we were living check-to-check, they had no life insurance–my mother, myself, and my siblings have nothing to throw into the money we need for my father to be cremated as he wished to be.
Even if you can’t spare anything, please, share this so that others might see and can share even just a little if they’re able and willing. Thank you.

I am also reworking a lot of her information so that is another reason as to why I have been staying silent. ▸ __φ(。。) ooc ;; once upon a time, I was an idiot… and a weeb. truth is I have to still get around to changing a lot of my oc’s names around from back when they were all made cause uh – well, for one, Kaida’s original name was my name in Japanese – yeah, wow. Edgy.
Eventually I found a baby - name website, looked for anything relating to dragon and found out that KAIDA meant Little Dragon ( which is actually wrong, Kaida is typically a last name in japanese, with no meaning of ‘ little dragon ‘ actually. – )
so, I kept that name until, I realized it was a surname, so then I had to come up with an excuse which actually, now that I think about it it’s logical – at least in modern – that her adoptive parents would give her the legal name Kaida as while neither were fully Japanese, being as it is a surname, it’d give Kaida quite a bit of room to hide from people tracking a name that would technically just lead you to popular Japanese girls with said surname.But yeah, I typically just use a baby - name website.
5. Is there any significance behind their hair color?
▸ __φ(。。) ooc ;; are you kink shaming me for loving red hair ? No but in all reality I think I made her hair red since her color scheme used to be Christmas themed and also – RED POPS against green. And considering she keeps it at long lengths – it’s an attention grabber in the middle of a fight. Kind of like a flag! So, yeah!
Her hair used to be boringly brown…. but that wasn’t anime protagonist enough for my liking.
19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?
▸ __φ(。。) OOC ;; okay fun fact number 2, Kaida loves to scare the ever living shit out of her friends and family by doing her park-our stunts. And I mean – not the pussy shit either. Fucking she out right jumps off of tall buildings, dances on ledges close to freezing water – acts like death ain’t got shit on her.
What’s even funnier is that she loves to see her dad’s face shift from worry to worried - angry dad mode. The man typically is a very chill, coffee drinking dude who beats criminals in court and has killed people in the past, but seeing his adoptive daughter throw herself off a building even though she’s a mother fucking dragon?
Maybe that’s a bit too much for his old heart to take.
Oh, but after she startles them she usually plays nice and stuff by giving them sweets or offering to do chores and stuff like that for free.
( she also gets herself in danger for attention because she’s a little shit that just wants to be cared for and loved okay )
13. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?
▸ __φ(。。) ooc ;; well, Kaida was my very first original character, so, this is pretty hard to think back to. It’s been over ten years, to say the least since Kaida was first created. Back in middle school when I begun to flesh her out, I thought up to the final events of Telemora – but that was it. That was the end of her story.
Then, flash forward to today, where she’s going to end up becoming a main character in the cast of the rpg series I am going to be working on. After quite a bit of studying stories and stuff too, I guess I let my mind wander and what used to be an AU, became canon –
Kaida’s modern verse was actually a joke back in 2010 – something for me and a few close friends to fuck around in. Now, it’s an extended world and story, with two main stories within it. Her and @hoodedspark‘s adventure to fuck up an asshole who keeps fucking over timelines for fun && … well, the after story, where an old bastard king comes back to take the thrown, but she, after becoming a mother of some little ones herself, decides to just cheer on the ‘ new ‘ heroes from the background ( but damn, she misses the spotlight )
So, I’ve thought about a lot of things, it actually is kind of slowing me on the first game I am making since she only makes a small appearance, important, none the less to her decent to god-hood, but nevertheless, maybe I love my child a bit too much.
15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?
▸ __φ(。。) ooc ;; STORY TIME – so once upon a time when I was a little kid and I made Kaida, I thought it’d be a swell idea to say that she was O.OT Link’s sister. Yeah, creative, I know !
But the best part was, that little fan character slowly grew to become their own thing and actually allowed me to meet quite a few great people, including my best friend, my boyfriend ( what a can of pringles he is ) and allow me to get through some tough times.
Oh, and the fact that, Kaida has a junk food aisle in her pockets, which is actually kinda similar to me, as I am diabetic and have constant low blood sugar threats – that and she constantly eats all the time and no one questions it.
17. Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?
▸ __φ(。。) ooc ;; regret is a heavy word. do I regret the first draft of her story I ever made? How much she was a mary sue and was OP to hell? yeah.
But here’s the thing with writing, you will always make mistakes, and I always suggest leaving room to change things with your characters in some way. a good story always shows a character change throughout the arcs so why not show it.
I have second thoughts about her being a god of HOPE but, even with the cliches, you run with it, y’know? everything is cliched now, so why not poke fun at it while also making a human character.
19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?
▸ __φ(。。) ooc ;; a favorite fact? I got many, since I have a feeling more people will send some more in.
so, a fun fact is that Kaida is actually quite the opposite of me, socially wise. she will go up to people and fucking bash them or just chat like they were long time friends, but me? haha, no. I am horrible at socializing, especially in public places. Kaida also looks up to her father and uncle a lot – which is actually very similar to me.
Oh, and her original color scheme was Christmas colors and I made a joke long ago that Telemora got haunted by a crazy Christmas dragon that’d eat all their children… Maybe I’ll keep that little Easter egg

▸ __φ(。。) ooc ;; update under the cut about my talk about being taken to the ER and all and I understand if you can’t help and such guys, honestly this came up on me too and yeah. Just thought I’d update && say that I might be taking a break from tumblr && such roleplay wise.
So, hey there, my butt had to go to the ER this morning, because I had a seizure. According to my partner, he said it only lasted a few seconds but, I’ve never had that shit before, and it was really scary, for the both of us, considering the only reason the hospital found could be the cause is my blood sugar dipping and jumping ( as I’m a type 1 diabetic ) and that the episode was possibly caused by me over correcting myself.
Kids. Never take a disease lightly. I mean it. I take care of myself, always eat food and shit but it was scary to wake up in the hospital with an IV in my arm and my boyfriend being such a great guy. There’s a reason I love him, and god damn I appreciate everything he’s done for me.
So, right now, the hospital wants me to get into seeing a neurologist, I tried to explain that I don’t have the cash for such ( which is why I posted my commissions earlier ) and I have to see a diabetic doctor as well to make sure that everything is taken care of.
I’m fine right now, I don’t feel like I did this morning and almost all of my blood work came back perfect. It’s just a precaution from the hospital wanting me to see a doc to make sure that, well you know, I’m completely okay and that it’s a one time thing.

I promise you that I am strictly worried about medication and paying copays right now which are all really high ( the two doctor appointments alone are going to be 100+ from the look of my copay rate ) so any support, be it emotionally or spreading some of my info around would be great.
