We just had the big reveal about Daeda’s daughter, Ica. 😭😭 he opened up to pace about his daughter on her would-be 19th birthday. What if we all exploded.

They’re not very good at being open about their emotions, but they’re like codependency final boss.

Daeda replaced his arms with cyberware because they wouldn’t stop shaking. Caesar has cybertech eyes because of an incident with the Scavs. Yearning ensues

Daeda likes to skirt around his issues. Caesar can just yk trap him until he cracks. Except Daeda gets too comfortable and falls asleep. They’re hilarious

Cyberpunk oc sketches yet again…

If you know anything about me I have to make everything about Greek mythology.

I was thinking about the Danaides and their eternal punishment (filling up a leaking basin), and circling back to my oc Daeda

Julius and Daeda have this ambiguous relationship going on — a “partner in all things” case.

Julius was there for Daeda at the lowest point of his life. He’s not an expressive man…one could say he’s the opposite: stoic, intimidating, and blunt.

For someone like Julius, it’s rare that he shows any emotion. For him to try and bare his heart to Daeda in desperate hopes that something in Daeda would grasp onto that…

How can Daeda accept another’s heart when his own was ripped out and eaten by the very corporations he swore he would bring down to heel?

The whole Danaides analogy is what I found suitable here. More on the butterfly imagery later (spoiler: butterflies are associated with Ica, his daughter. In this illustration, that’s literally an Ica shaped hole where his heart was.)

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the matter
