THE BASICS:

OKAY, HERE WE GOOOOO

saint had, what queen gallia would call, a “troubled childhood”. he ran with the wrong crowd, got mixed up in some shady business, probably did some political activism in his youth that his mother looked really down on when he was more on the wild side of things.

he did party a lot as a kid, though. as all princes usually do, just the usual run of the mill month-long benders until he grew exhausted of that life in his ripe, old age.

because of this and just his general behavior and unpleasantness towards his mother, the queen of mexico (curse her soul) removed him from the throne, thereby placing anastasia next in line for it. he’s only a prince in name.

some days, saint regrets it. others, not so much. if anything, he only regrets it because he knows stas has to take on a ridiculous amount of responsibility because of his actions... that he still stands by, honestly.

that being said, queen gallia has always viewed and shaded him as the “irresponsible” type who could never run a country, something that saint resents.

like he hates the monarchy and everything it stands for, because he feels like a large majority of the people ruling don’t deserve it at all, but he knows he’d be a good king... he just prefers democracy rather than monarchy. it’s only fair that the people get to rule, not people who were just born “lucky”.

so as a slap in the face to his mother and as a gift to his sister who cannot drive to save her life, saint founded lyft (yes, THAT lyft) as a means for accessibility in an otherwise very inaccessible world and has aided in growing it into the international company it is today. 

he’s very much a rebel with a cause type of person. his cause? humanitarianism and accessibility for everyone. he goes off the grid for months sometimes, only coming back after having built villages and schools for the poor in countries that are far less fortunate than his own and the global superpowers. 

PERSONALITY: 

he only genuinely cares about two things: stas and the environment.

and maybe continuing to slap queen gallia in the face, figuratively, with how great of a person he is.

but, for real, he truly believes that stas can do no wrong whatsoever. her enemies are his enemies, her problems are his problems. where other sibling relationships fall apart because of the pressures of royalty, saint and stas’ only strengthened after he was removed from the crown.

his Aesthetic is rolling up on an environmentally friendly motorcycle with a fake leather jacket, he looks the part of a “bad boy” and behaves like one because he doesn’t give a shit about anything, usually.

that’s not to say he’s an asshole, he’s just very blunt and to the point with other people because he has no patience for all the formalities that come with being a royal. honestly, he probably gets along best with non-royals who don’t try to kiss his ass.

but, overall, he’s just a very chill dude, just doin his thing and chugging along into his thirties.

@rcsula​ // “sunny!” kaia screamed, madly dashing at the man as she barreled through the public space without a care in the world. she hadn’t seen him in ages, the letters they had exchanged were such a near and dear part of her childhood that she still looked up to him today because of them. she hardly slows down as she arrives in front of him, plowing into him with a hug that she hoped would make up for all their lost time. she hardly stopped to think that they had both changed in their time apart, that the boy she knew who was full of joy had been replaced with someone else. her childhood had been filled with gratitude and understanding, how could she understand? “oh, sunny! it’s been so long! oh my god, you look so tired, have you been sleeping?” she asked, pulling away briefly to cup his face and take a good hard look at his features. “you need a nap, stat. i’ve got great blankets and pillows in my room, the sheets are to die for, you have to come.”

@regalitytm​ // kaia had heard a million and ten stories about anastasia from olivia, their adventures around the world was enough to inspire jealousy from her. but where there was supposed to be envy only laid an eagerness to get to know the other woman. she was sure that if the princess of mexico got along so swimmingly with her best friend, it wouldn’t be difficult for the two of them to do so either. that was what she hoped, at least. bounding up to her, she tapped her on the shoulder before smiling wide. “you’re stas, right? i’m kaia!” she introduced herself, restraining herself from hugging the other despite being incredibly touchy with her friends. “livvie has told me so much about you, i can’t believe i’m actually meeting you in person now!”

@ofcrwns​ // seeing remy hurt. kaia had done so well after the break up to avoid him, she had returned all the things he had given her and burned the rest of it in a bonfire before jetting off to genovia. but seeing those familiar features that she had once loved (still loved) made all of those unresolved feelings bubble up to the surface. she’d never wanted to slap someone more in her life, never wished anyone harm or violence, but he almost deserved it. keeping her fury at bay, she glared daggers at him. “what are you doing in genovia?” she snapped, not caring that she likely would be causing a scene if she were any louder. half of her hoped that he was here to make amends, to ask her for her forgiveness, but such foolish hopes were meant for children. “quickly, i don’t have all day.”

@mvsquerades​ // “vivi, please hide me, i can’t keep running into one of remy’s friends or him.” kaia sighed, ducking behind the slightly shorter woman. she hadn’t realized that her ex would be here. of all the places on the earth that he could’ve appeared, why did he have to choose genovia? the royals were practically expected to be here due to princess’ courting, so what right did he have to barge in and disturb her peace like this? gritting her teeth in mild irritation, she placed her forehead against her friend’s shoulder and sighed deeply. “everywhere i go, i have to see his stupid face and be reminded that he dumped me. can we go to italy or something?”

@gllded​ // jodha was certainly no stranger to sam, the woman who had broken his brother’s heart was permanently etched into his brain like a plague that he wanted to eradicate. he’d obviously heard things about her reign too, the authoritarian maharani who ruled with an iron grasp. he practically hated everything she stood for, yet he was forced to make nice with her in a place like genovia. even more so, he was tempted to make her his next target, though he knew it was foolish to believe that she would ever fall for it. still, he didn’t mind playing the role of being under someone’s thumb so long as they all eventually got what was coming to them. stepping into a doorway at just the right moment, he stepped in the same direction as her to move over before giving her an apologetic smile. “seems like we’re in sync or something,” he remarked, cheekily. “my apologies, your highness. you stand there and i can move over, i know you’re probably in a rush to be somewhere.”

@rcsula​ // sam had always done his best to keep his ear to the ground, filing the information he heard spilling out of everyone’s loose lips into something he could eventually use. one thing that seemed particularly interesting to him was sunwoo’s background, especially that of the other knowing how to fight. as much as he hated it, there was a begrudging respect that had sprouted due to it. he had no qualms with the man himself, but still disliked everything he stood for. even so, he couldn’t help the flicker of curiosity he felt when standing face-to-face with him. “forgive me for being forward with this, your highness, but i heard that you’re trained in some martial arts.” he spoke, rather delicately and quietly. “i was wondering if you were interested in a sparring partner? i’ve been practicing myself for a long time, it’s not often i meet someone who might be better than me.”

@rellinquish​ // since their last heated conversation, rhys had made sure to avoid his brother at all costs, but it seemed like his luck had finally run out. he was far too drunk to care that arthur was even there, catching himself swaying back and forth as though his body were protesting his presence too. he laughed to himself, taking another swig of his drink before catching the other’s glance and swiftly looking away again. the last thing he needed was a lecture or mock concern coming from the crown favorite. it wasn’t as though he hadn’t seen him in this exact state millions of times before either. stumbling slightly, he dropped his glass and managed to spill his drink on the floor. “fuck, that was the good stuff too.” he muttered before crouching down himself to pick up the pieces.

@rcsula​ // nothing in this world made him more bitter than seeing nolan, his very presence reminded him of lost opportunities and the stupid decisions he had made to get him into this mess to begin with. the rational part of him knew that the other prince had nothing to do with the way his life had gone, so he swallowed his pride as best as he could whenever he had to be around him. both he and harper had made their choices, now it was simply easier to let the both of them live the lives they intended to. though his smile was a bit strained due to everything, he didn’t hesitate in greeting him as though he were an old friend. “nolan, nice to see you.” he stated, giving the other a clap on the shoulder. “how’s genovia been treating you? ball and chain dragging you down already?”

@gxldlxghts​ // truth be told, rhys had always been the type to have his head lost in the clouds of his own worries. since his arrival to genovia, that had only strengthened tenfold by the amount of things piling up on his metaphorical plate. he’d never had the best spatial awareness to begin with, which was exactly why he had knocked into antonia. startled from his chattering thoughts, he quickly reverted to his apologetic self as he looked down at her with a sheepish smile. “i’m so sorry, i didn’t even seen you there.”

@mvsquerades​ // “aveline dayao, have i got some news for you!” alec practically announced, bursting onto the scene like his entire life was some overly dramatic movie that was always filming. though he was sure the whispers had already gotten to her, he wanted her to hear from his lips. getting back together with stas only signaled to him that nothing was irreparable and he figured that vivi deserved to know that her relationship with arthur wasn’t entirely lost either. what was the correlation? he couldn’t say. “guess who has a girlfriend again? you’ll never guess, so i’ll just tell you. it’s me.”

@rellinquish​ // “no, come on, i promise i can lift you. don’t you trust me?” alec shouted across the rink to justice, gesturing for her to come closer as he skated around the ice delicately. coming to a stop as he directly faced her, he let a breath out while raising an eyebrow. so, maybe, he didn’t have the utmost confidence that he wouldn’t drop her, but it was worth it. besides, he wouldn’t really know until he tried. “i’ve got muscles for days, i got this!”

@rcsula​ // contrary to popular belief, alec did, in fact, have enough brain cells left in his body to know that nolan was not his biggest fan. he’d known since the time he and stas had broken up that the prince of new zealand didn’t exactly see him in the best light, but he hoped that his recent reconciliation with his girlfriend was cause for a new turn in their relationship. plopping down next to the newlywed, he beamed over at him. “what’s up, nolan? how’s the wife treating you?” he asked, wrinkling his nose slightly at the title. he’d never been a fan of marriage, not really. “congrats on that, by the way. i didn’t get the chance to tell you at your reception.”

@gxldlxghts​ // “well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in.” alec teased, strolling up to an old friend who he felt as though he hadn’t seen in ages. he and antonia had roughly ran in the same circles some years ago, but her presence was far less constant these days. he didn’t believe that partying was something people grew out of, however, and he plastered the biggest and warmest smile he could. “have you been hiding from me, toni?”

it’s nice that she’s not pressing. not digging through him only to find a horrid nest that no one would ever know what to do with. he chuckles, “we can do all the things to distract ourselves. frankly, doing everything sounds way more interesting.” he wraps an arm around her. “where shall we start? it’s all up to you, i make none of the choices this evening. i am only along for the ride.”

she doesn’t bother to pry because she knows that it would only bring down their reunion. kaia herself is not altogether unfamiliar with running away from her own heartaches, it’s a familiar cycle they’re entering where they both don’t talk about their issues. she nestles herself further into his grasp, humming as she thought about what she wanted to do. “oh, fraser, i might be horribly boring if you’re following my lead.” she protests, but it’s halfhearted. “i haven’t had anything to drink yet, though! i hear the pear wine is all they have to offer, but let’s get a bottle or three of that and stumble around.”

there was no need to consider the fluttering of her heart as anything more than just the rush of adrenaline, despite how it seemed to spike the closer they got. it just made far more sense that the feeling of her heart trying to escape was just another side effect of jumping out of a plane, but that doesn’t mean she wants this feelings to end; quite the opposite really. which is probably why her arms were still around his neck, a grin still spread across her face as if that were to ever leave in his presence. “ what? now that’s an outrage! this was the best part of the whole shebang. really, i would rather go again and skip the picnic! ” but she’s going to take it — as long as that means she gets to spend the time with alec. which is probably why her hands slowly drop from around his neck, though she wasn’t exactly ready for the loss of contact — not that she would admit. her hand found one of his own, closing her own around his as she pulls him away from where they landed to scope out a place for food. “ we would have never died. we’re too cool to. but if we keep talking about food, i’m going to end up eating snow. ”

alec could always count on olivia to do something reckless with him, a trait that he admired and adored because no one else ever seemed to go along with his antics. at a certain point, parties only did so much to curb his need for adventure and others tended to shy away from his idea of a good time outside of that. he could forsee himself spending the rest of his life asking her to do something brazen with him, not that he would ever admit it to anyone. “i can call the helicopter down right now, but i’m not sure if they have more parachutes.” he laughed, though he was quickly being dragged away by hand by her. despite everything, her touch is still electric and he doesn’t focus on the way it feels. he’d feel far too guilty if he did like he had the first time. “too cool to die, sounds like we’re going to be immortal. we just have to find the picnic basket and blanket first... i know they put it somewhere around here...”
