Surprise Breakfast
darling-mary-flores:
“No, it’s not my birthday and it’s not your birthday,” Mary shook her head. She couldn’t help but smile. The way Jaq worried meant that he was passionate, which was one of the qualities she liked most about him. “There’s no bad news! Don’t worry, Jaq. I just wanted to do something nice for you! I mean, we rarely get to eat breakfast together, because I’m always rushing to work. I didn’t have any appointments this morning, so I thought we could catch up!” she spoke, calmly and soothingly. “What’s new with you?”
“Well thank you Mary!” Jaq said, really digging into the plate that he was forming. It looked more like a little volcano, which he topped off with kechup lava. “Better not tell Gus-Gus that you made breakfast, he’ll come here and eat it all!” He laughed, and scooped up big sections with his fork and knife, only pausing to take sips of orange juice. Coffee made him even more hyper, most people tried to get him to avoid it. “I went into Cinderelly’s house and put little pieces of stinky cheese into all of Lucy’s socks!” But Lucy, he meant Lucifer, Cinderella’s stepbrother. “He’s going to have stinky feet, it’s going to be funny.”
