The Spring Festival

âWhatever color that you want.â Thomas grinned. He would vote for any color as long as it was a pretty one. No baby needed to sit in a high chair that was puke green, thatâs for sure. âSo thereâs nothing to worry about, weâll get everything in time. I promise.â Heâd have to start to make a check-list. Maybe he could even build some things himself! He took woodworking in high school, he could at least manage to make some shelves for the nursery.
He could totally picture it too. Rapunzel, himself and a swarm of children, running over the hills, singing random songs at the top of their lungs. Seemed more like a horror movie than a musical, but thatâs just how his mind worked. âWell, letâs start at one and see how it goes from there, shall we?â He already knew Rapunzel was destined to be his wife. Itâs already been almost a year! âWere you the girl that had an album, filled with baby names and pictures of baby clothes cut out of catalogs?â He teased. She certainly seemed the sort.
âWhatever color I want?â Rapunzel asked, raising a brow. âEven pink?â She asked with a giggle. She wouldnât paint the babyâs high chair an obnoxious hot pink, but rather a ballet pink. âYou always ease my worries,â she smiled, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. Even though she told him it was okay for him to back out, she was more than grateful he didnât. He was thee man she was destined to be with.
A soft blush colored her cheeks, grinning from ear to ear. This morning hadnât been a bright one, but she felt like she was on cloud nine. âThat sounds like a good start to me!â She couldnât picture having a family with anyone else besides him. âNo!â she giggled. âBut I would dress up like a bride, with a pillow case veil!â
