Thinking about the "Chase is used to not eating for long periods thanks to his parents not feeding him" thing and it got me thinking:

Even after getting away from them (via the Beach House/Total Drama/Moving in with Bowie), there are still times where he unconsciously doesn't eat for varying periods of time (few hours at best, nearly a week at worst), sadly because of just how used to not eating he is.

Plus, there are times where (due to having to binge on leftover pizza late at night just to not starve) he'll just start binge eating, particularly after unconsciously not eating for a while (more often than not then go back to not eating).

Nothing was really done about it at the Beach House, but after moving in with Bowie, he(Bowie) makes a mental note to make sure that Chase has a proper eating schedule (he just kinda, forgets that it's not like how it was with his parents) -🍉🦊

what happened to hello. how are you. how are you going. clutching my head and collapsing onto my knees. he's got the worst relationship with food ever it's genuinely a cause for concern. he didn't eat for a week while on total drama and everyone got super concerned. then they did the wheel of vomit and he was accused of knowing the challenges in advance but he's genuinely just. like that. Bowie is trying his hardest to help him and he's doing a good job. genuinely how could you do this

yeah yellowjackets is great. the episodes are all movie length though. and the wilderness/adult timeline thing was confusing at first(the episodes split up between them during the plane crash and 25 years after). But yeah you should absolutely watch it

alright sickkk I love series that have stupid long episodes. it's such a better format than 10 minutes per ep. also Im reading Homestuck rn so I'm like. fairly sure that I'll be fine with the timeline stuff. hs timeline is genuinely rotting my brain so it can't be worse I hope. Looked back on the hoodie ask, saw the response about Chase only really getting his parents old clothes (cause they couldn't bother to buy him clothes) and as a result has no clue how to style clothes, and now I have the (heartbreaking yet kinda adorable) mental image of a younger Chase in his parents slightly oversized hand-me-down clothes.

IM LOSING IT he probably didn't own any belts so he used shoelaces and yarn and stuff. he doesn't know his size in literally anything ever and has no clue what the difference between a jumper and jacket is. he's so special to me (gripping him in my hand and squeezing him until he explodes)
