Keaton was slightly upset he had lost the ball of yarn he found on his way back, though his ears perk up upon hearing Corrin’s voice calling him, turning his head with a curious head tilt.
“Oh?” He unwillingly speaks in his curious moment while making his way closer, taking a glance and…his tail begins to wag in excitement.
“Oh man! Look at that all this treasure! This is so cool! Ahh I don’t even know where to start…” The young wolf’s eyes just couldn’t sit still at one thing, quickly looking over everything in sight.
“We’re so lucky to have all this to us!”
At the sound of treasure, she had the impression his attention was elsewhere – maybe a hidden diamond or chest that lurked just over yonder, in which only those with a keen sense such as the wolfskin clan are able to sniff out! But soon enough, she realized that Keaton was indeed referring to the, erm… pile of somethings right beside her.
“I-I’m not sure if luck would be the right word to use here… “ The princess had muttered to herself, rummaging through its contents to pull out a withered oil lamp; whether it worked or not was up for testing.
“I’ll feel terrible for not making any good use of their donation.” And just like that, the lamp detached from its handle, ultimately shattering upon hitting the ground. “… looks like I’ll need to find some space in the armory to put all this in.”
"Oh come on now, Corrin! You can lend all of this to me if you ant! I'll have some major re-decorating in my room with all this goody-good treasure!" The wolfskin's tail just never stopped wagging with high excitement, his attention turning to the now shattered lamp on the floor.
"I could totally use that to decorate my room's ceiling.~"
"Maybe I should teach you a thing or two about treasures, Corrin, you'll have a much easier time deciding what to do with these babies!."
@dualkfurrs is just really awesome! The Mun is friendly, and just someone who is I enjoy talking to! Their portrayal of both Kaden, and Keaton is amazing! It’s also really in character! It’s a shame they are always so busy, cause I really enjoy them!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'M NOT WORTHY OF THIS. THANK YOU!
[ @dualkfurrs liked for a starter! ]
While Corrin appreciated the village’s effort in donating whatever they could for the war effort (especially granted their humble lifestyle), she’s not too sure on how to make use of what they’ve been given. Molded rations, worn out trinkets… broken glassware to replace already broken glassware? At this point the army had a whole pile of somethings laying around, and she wasn’t too sure on what to do with any of them.
“Maybe I can use something to decorate my work space with… ” She tossed away a wooden spoon (one without the small round at the end, so essentially it was just a stick), debating on whether they could use these as weapons instead. That’s when Corrin noticed a certain wolfskin at the corner of her eye before calling him over.
“Hey, Keaton! We’ve got a big donation from that small village we helped yesterday, so come take a look, perhaps? I’m not sure if you’ll find anything particularly… eye-catching.”
Keaton was slightly upset he had lost the ball of yarn he found on his way back, though his ears perk up upon hearing Corrin's voice calling him, turning his head with a curious head tilt.
"Oh?" He unwillingly speaks in his curious moment while making his way closer, taking a glance and...his tail begins to wag in excitement.

Kaden’s attention was snapped and ears perked once the human spoke about his precious Beastrune, quickly stepping closer and taking a look, a beam shining up on his fact.
“Yes! That’s it! Yay!~” The young kitsune gets a hold on the Beastrune, his tail wagging in happiness.
“Thank you so very much. I promise I will repay the favor somehow!”
“There really is no need to. All I did was look through a bush, there’s nothing to repay.” Willem chuckled as he picked up his satchel from the ground. “Though I have to say, I’m rather curious about why you were here in the first place.”
"Yes there is a need to! Come on now, anything you need? You can think! I always repay favors, it's a rule o mine, see?" The kitsune just chuckles with a wink at his new acquaintance.
"I was just roaming around, I like to explore places, walk around and all that kind of adventuring, you know?"

Kaden just looks curiously at what just had happened, his ears flattening just a bit to the side as the flower just sat there on his head.
“Oh this kinda gives off a nice aroma, I say. And it goes well with my fur too~”
The kitsune seemed a bit sad at first, but he quickly shifted his mood to a more uplifted one, his tail beginning to wag once again.
“Yeah, they all helped me a lot, we’re like one big family. The only thing I do remember is that my dad was the village’s leader. That’s why I was nominated leader after I got older! Guess I just had to follow his steps liking it or not, hee hee!~”
“A leader adventuring by himself? Not an usual sight but certainly a welcome one! Few people actually make use of the freedom they have the right to. It saddens me somewhat to see it wasted.” Willem mused as he absentmindedly scanned the bush.
He brushed away a small branch, the beastrune laying on the ground below it.. “That thing you’re looking for is like a sort of spiky stone right? I think I found it.”
Kaden's attention was snapped and ears perked once the human spoke about his precious Beastrune, quickly stepping closer and taking a look, a beam shining up on his fact.

Gotta say, you do the furballs justice. I believe you're doing well enough to deserve a gold star. - ANON+ rates you with an A+
Thank you very much, nonnie~~
“Ah! I see now.” Kaden’s ears twitches a bit in his enlightened moment.
“I…didn’t get to know my mom and dad much, honestly…I believe they passed away when I was still a little kid. That’s what my friends tell me. Oh well…”
“That’s rough. Though in a way I’d assume an isolated society would function as a sort of big family so I’m guessing that cushioned the blow a little bit. Hell, the Frostborn aren’t that isolated and we still consider each other family… though maybe that’s just a thing with mercenaries.” A grin snuck its way into Willem’s face.

“That’s humans for ya…some are awesome and really friendly…others are cruel and only think of themselves.” The young kitsune shook his head slightly with a sigh.
“So…you have some kind of rule that prevents you from killing? Is that something from your pack–erm, I mean, fom your group?”
“Well not really.” Willem lets out a sigh. “My mother, for example, is a bit of a fan of the ‘vigilante’ approach. ‘Eye for an eye’, ‘no mercy for the wicked’ and that sort of thing.” Willem admired his mother deeply but at that moment Kaden could see the one part of her he loathed. “Sometimes I just wish she’d see that some of those people feel like they have no choice but banditry.”
"Ah! I see now." Kaden's ears twitches a bit in his enlightened moment.
"I...didn't get to know my mom and dad much, honestly...I believe they passed away when I was still a little kid. That's what my friends tell me. Oh well..."
"Hmm! I see! I've heard that the queen was such a kind-hearted human...I didn't have the chance to meet her. Well at least you've got yourself a place to stay, yes. I indeed did realize you weren't from around here just by your scent. Hee hee!"
“I’m handsome AND strong!~”
@dualkfurrs
At the sound of unfamiliar footsteps, the gray jester lifts her gaze from her book, copper hues falling upon the figure of a rather… odd looking Visitor. In fact, he looked something akin to one of the pictures she’d just seen in her novel. Though what really held her attention, were those fluffy looking things on his head.
Placing the hardcover down next to her on the ledge of the fountain, head tipping to the side in mild curiosity, she offered the male a small, timid smile as she regarded him, body tensing ever so slightly. He didn’t look threatening, but the fear of meeting strangers was already embedded into her, unfortunately.
“G-Greetings Visitor…. I… Is this your first t-time here?… I-I’ve never seen a Visitor sporting such a strange looking attire before…”
It's totally normal sometimes for a kitsune to leave it's home for a small exploration...though Kaden always took it far. In fact, way too far this time. Gods only know where could he be at this point after so much walking and exploring. Kaden does see a quite hypnotizing fountain, slowly walking towards it in awe, it appears the young fox has never seen something like that before. Though his attention is quickly snapped out from the fountain as he hears a stranger's voice, head whipping to the side a bit to look at said stranger.
"Oh...heiya." He spoke with a small hand wave.
"Yes, actually. I've been traveling for some days and I guess I just stumbled in this place. Oh and this thing shooting water up sure is beautiful too! ...does it have a name? Do you have a name too, human?" Kaden's tail began to slowly sway to the sides in his curious moment.
dualkfurrs:
“It’s nice meeting ya, Kobe.” Kaden returned with a wide smile and a handshake, letting go of the bluet’s hand afterwards.
“Hey now, as long as you have yourself some buddies, it’s all good! Doesn’t matter if it’s a village or just a small pack.” The young fox’s hand scratched his chin just a tad.
“I feel really special for meeting another kind of beastkin, it’s such a nice feeling, I tell ya!” A quick chuckle slipped past the kitsune’s mouth as he fiddled with his scarf.
“Say, Kobe, were you going somewhere…? I had a small cave nearby where I was using as a temporary home until I gathered enough resources to keep traveling. But, what about you?”
Kaden appeared to be a nice enough fella, that was for sure. The lax nature and pleasant banter between them was enough to make Kobe smile as if he were among friends. He had to admit, too, that the Kitsune smelled nice, which was important in determining who was a friend or foe. The bluet could only hope that he had a good scent on himself as well. He probably reeked of woodland creatures at the moment, since he had been hanging around with them while hunting for wild game, specifically berries and boars, the usual food for an omnivore with a stag deer and rabbits among his pack.
“I was going to finish up hunting and head home to Castle Shirasagi.” Kobe answered with a slight blush dusting his cheeks, embarrassed to admit to a fellow beast changer that he lived among the lavish humans in Hoshido. “I’m a retainer to the second prince Lord Takumi there. You mustn’t tell anybody that I’m not fully human, though!”
"Oh...ooh!~" The kitsune's tail wagged more and more as he heard the bluet speaking.
"Woah that must be so nice, huh. Being so close to the royalty like tat must get you all sorts of top notch treatment, I bet." Kaden spoke with a quick chuckle at the end, waving a dismissive hand at his new friend.
"Hey no worries, buddy. My lips are sealed!"
“That’s correct!” The young fox answered, smiling at the stranger.
“Kitsunes remain quite hidden from humans, actually. My village is very well hidden and any outsiders are usually eliminated, especially if they are humans. We are more often than not prey of humans, they wish to take our fur coats and sell them and all that nasty stuff…I do like humans though, I can usually figure out if you’re a nice human or not.”
“Geez, I mean your fur looks great and all but killing for it? That’s just… way too messed up.” Willem’s expression is one of horror as he speaks. “I’m not much for violence and all but people like that should count themselves lucky I have a code that doesn’t allow killing. I’m all for second chances and redemptions but this is pushing even MY limits.”
"That's humans for ya...some are awesome and really friendly...others are cruel and only think of themselves." The young kitsune shook his head slightly with a sigh.
"So...you have some kind of rule that prevents you from killing? Is that something from your pack--erm, I mean, fom your group?"
