The Teleported DUCK in Les Marais du Vigueirat June 2016, through the combined efforts of the FRAC PACA, the Rencontres d’Arles, FID Marseille and teams from Marais du Vigueirat, the Teleported Duck found a new nest in the natural park of the Camargue, on the lands of Conservatoire du littoral, in a space dedicated to the protection of rare and endangered species of birds.

Here are some drawings done by 5 years old kids from Arles nursery school (Ecole du Cloître). The drawings were inspired to the kids by the concept of the DUCK, just after a public presentation of the project.

Two years after starting the project DUCK, A theory of Evolution, here is the first picture I did in front of the original DUCK, the building that made crazy Robert Venturi and Denise Scott-Brown about 50 years ago. I choose the same view angle than Peter Blake, the first to officially publish a picture of the DUCK, in a critical approach of contemporary popular architecture (GOD'S OWN JUNKYARD, 1964) Venturi, Scott-Brown and Izzenour published the same picture (LEARNING FROM LAS VEGAS, 1972) with a totally different discourse, using the DUCK as a theorical reference for architecture.
