prompt is goliath fighter, I guess technically in d&d canon female goliaths have hair, but I think it’s cooler if they’re also bald so I did that

I think for the rest of the prompts I’m gonna work on loosening up my poses

also I might forget this but I’m gonna try to start signing my work with my ig username, I’ve always intended to but I think it’s more important now because the tabletop community’s greatest weakness is sourcing art

So I tried to keep it casual for day 1 of inktober / drawtober, but I accidentally spent 8 hours on this... don’t take this as a precedent, I will not go this hard every day this month This is prompt 1, Dragonborn Sorcerer, from my prompt list of D&D characters

remember my d&d character Sasanna? I just made a post about her a hot second ago but here she is again

so in the last session we played, Sasanna’s long lost dad showed up, but he kidnapped her so that wasn’t as cool

but he gave her a bunch of formal clothing so I guess he was trying to be nice, still not cool tho

I drew a scene that happened in my d&d session the other day. Sasanna, the half orc in the dress, is my character, she’s a bard. She’s about to high five Mel, the other half orc, a barbarian. As soon as their hands make contact, Sasanna will cast invisibility on Mel and make her disappear. Mydeus, the short little drow in the middle, thinks this is all pretty ridiculous.

I know it was really, really early, like episode 5 or something, but does anybody remember Killian saying ‘brb’? it was adorable and I loved it

I’m challenging myself with my art style! I worked soooo hard on this

there’s so much detail, I don’t even know if you can see it all

doing a lot of art in this style to get more comfortable with this stuff

Different types of shark costumes? (Whale shark, hammerhead, nurse shark, ?)

yeah it took me like… 10 days

but I did it!

@quurlybug suggested a hedgehog for the animal designs

if I was going to make this I’d make the ears and spikes out of felt and I’d make the cape since a hooded cape is a lot easier to make than one might think
