Well Hello There!

Welcome to the ask blog!- we hope you enjoy your time here!- before we begin here are some things you should know!-

1.] This is a mature blog, so there will be some freaky asks and some freaky (if not freakier-) replies- while this is the case please refrain from anything too crazy you wild animals- I'm quite comfortable with anything and everything under the sun, but please keep it a bit calm-

2.] I, a surprise to many, have a life outside of social media- if I haven't gotten to your ask yet please do not spam me asking about it- if you do so your asks will be deleted and you will be BLOCKED- BLOCKED I SAY- I will be answering at MOST 5 asks a day since I do art for almost every ask I answer- if I do more than that do not expect it to be a normal occurrence-

3.] I don't feel the most comfortable with people venting in the asks- you may send a simple, "hey, I had a bad day. This will be basic lore for Jekyll and Hector so you guys can get a tad bit of a better read on their dynamic- Also if people do ask things related to their lore it shall be put here-

Jekyll and Hector both like the home owner. But, Jekyll seems a tad jealous anytime Hector goes on and on about them.

Jekyll can remember some of his life as a coyote- even when he was being made into taxidermy-

Jekyll and Hector are startled by the sudden attack of affection, but they don't protest in the slightest. Hector just lets you pet him with a smile on his face and a flush on his cheeks. Jekyll leans as much of his body weight into your hand as he possibly can. His tail is wagging happily as he lets out quiet huffs.

They seem to enjoy it.

“My love”, “sweetheart”, by the time Hector picked me up I was too flustered to make any real effort to leave. I shouldn’t be sitting around I caused their pain in the first place.

Though regrettably they are blocking my main way of exiting so I can’t go reheat the pad for when they wake up….great. I carefully pull one of the blankets Hector had brought into the unit over both objects before pulling out a sketchbook and playing some music in my headphones to pass the time.

Soon enough I fall asleep against the pair, music still playing from my headphones as I slept with my sketchbook in my lap.

[FROM A PREVIOUS RP THREAD-]

The three of you sleep in a peaceful silence. Well, almost silence. Hector and Jekyll are snoring quietly while they both lean against you. Jekyll has his upper body against your lap while Hector's head is against your shoulder. The air around you is nice and cool, the perfect temperature for you all to cuddle.

It will be a long while before you all wake up, and it will be even longer before you decide to get out of the HVAC unit. But, at least you have the boys to dote on you as you have in turn for them. They seem quite content in their sleep with you.

Hopefully you'll stay with them.

{As Hector was reading I was basically asleep against his side only really showing I was awake by gently squeezing Jekyll’s hand back periodically. That was until the kiss.}

Epp!

{Like the living squeaky toy I apparently am, embarrassingly I squeaked flustered beyond belief I hide my face my turning away for a moment. Looking back to see Hectors flushed face I smile and in a moment of confidence my hand cups his face guiding it towards me as I press a kiss to his nose.}

Hector tenses at your touch, but manages to relax into it... That is until you kiss him back on the nose. As soon as you do the cone around his neck shoots up and covers the entirety of his head. The temperature of the HVAC unit gets noticeably warmer while the poor HVAC himself is frozen where he lays. When you thank him he just nods and sits there quietly for a moment.

Jekyll just watched the whole fiasco from Hector's other side. He stares at the two of you for a long while, his eye flicking between you and Hector, before he looks at you and crawls over Hector to get to you. Once he's close enough he cups your face in his cold hands, his leather fingerless gloves not helping to warm them, and smashes his lips against yours. He doesn't know what he's doing at all, but he seems to be trying his best to kiss you as well. As soon as he did it he pulled away and sat back in his original spot.

Hector had managed to calm down enough by this time to look at you both, and he just sighs when he sees Jekyll's attempt at a kiss.

"Jekyll, that's not-" he cuts himself off with another sigh and grabs the coyote by his jaw. Just as the taxidermy is about to protest he's stopped when the HVAC presses their lips together in a soft kiss. It's short and sweet, but Jekyll is left in a daze afterwards. A red flush invades his usually stark white face while Hector gets comfy again and goes back to reading.

The coyote stays completely still for a few minutes. It's like he was paralyzed from what happened, but eventually he lays back down against Hector's side with a quiet sigh. He's not focused on the book anymore and is instead staring off into the distance.

[Just about ready to start another ramble at Jekyll’s little comment I let it slide for now, can’t go getting sidetracked now can we? Then I am tackled by the taxidermy-]

Help- tiny…can’t breathe bleh-

[Like the theatre kid I am I dramatically reach for help before flopping like dead weight.]

But seriously I can’t breathe Hector help-

[Though when we’re both picked up by him my mind nearly blue screens for a second. . .okay, HVAC man is strong noted. Not flustered at all shhhhhh-]

But my art supplies…

[My complaints though more dramatic than anything are ignored as I am plopped into the HVAC unit. Mhm cool please let that spider be gone- oooooo comfy blanket. Before I know it I’m snuggled into Hectors side with a hum, gotta admit it was comfy, perfect temperature as well. As expected of the HVAC. Upon feeling the Taxidermies cold hand I clasp it in both of my own trying to warm it up…even though I run cold. The…extended eye contact is unexpected MUCH LESS THE COMPLIMENT!!!]

I- you- I…thanks

[Now with a flushed face I try and hide my reaction in Hectors side before embarrassment consumes me.]

Jekyll smiles at you and Hector just giggles at your guys' antics. When he feels your face against his side his hand closest to you immediately tangles in your hair, gently rubbing your scalp. Then, once you're comfortable he starts reading. It's a graphic novel and you know it very well. You were actually looking for where it went... At least you know now. Jekyll seems to be locked in on the drawings while the HVAC reads, The Hidden Witch. He reads slow enough for you and Jekyll to be able to look over the details in the drawings, though he does it more for Jekyll considering the Coyote can't read very well.

Speaking of, when you look over at him you can see him mumbling the words while Hector reads. His hand squeezes yours in long intervals. Squeeze... Release... Squeeze... Release. This continues for a bit until Hector leans his head against the taxidermy's. He calms down a bit after that, choosing to just rub your knuckles with his thumb instead.

Hector glances down at you both from time to time. His eyes linger on you more now that Jekyll is calmer. After he finishes another page he leans his head down and presses a gentle kiss to your forehead. Though it's a little difficult to see there's a noticeable flush to Hector's face now.

All three of you lay there for a long while, cuddled up and cozy together.

It couldn't get better than this.

Oh hai… WAIT JEKYLL OOF-

[Accepting my fate upon falling to the ground I like Jekyll do his thing before sitting up and wiping my face.]

[Holding the charm like it’s the most precious thing ever I inspect it carefully. Not that the taxidermy knew but I am a huge antique and trinket fan sooooo starry eyed I was]

[Stashing the trinket for safe keeping I pull the taxidermy into a hug. . .then I see Hector. Oh the have my headphones right now cause my ears are probably red-]

I- uh hai-

[Barely resisting the urge to run a hand through the mans hair I let him speak, a shiver going up my back at the mention of spiders.]

I can’t blame ya for bonking your head after seeing on, once one showed up in my bedroom at like 3am thing was HUGE. Barely fought the urge to burn the whole room just to…safety remove it from the premises-

[I let out a dry cough having remembered halfway through my ramble that Jekyll probably wouldn’t like hearing about the poor spider’s untimely demise.]

A- as for what I wanna do…can we uh. . .cuddle? Like last time?

Was nice drawing with company and no obligation to speak, ya know?

Hector smiles at you as you talk, and Jekyll seems pleased at being held so tightly. Though, the taxidermy pouts when hearing your distaste for spiders.

"They're just lil guys," he mutters under his breath. Though, he doesn't push the issue. The HVAC just listens to you and giggles after your story. His eyes are full of adoration as he just listens to you ramble. At the mention of cuddling, though, you are immediately tackled to the ground once again by the coyote on top of you. His surprising amount of dead weight is pressed against you while he gets comfy, just laying on you without a glimpse of regret.

"Goodness gracious, Jekyll," Hector groans out before gently picking you and the taxidermy up, with a bit of a struggle. As soon as you're both up he drags you both into the HVAC unit with him one by one. "Okay, let's get comfy," he says with a smile on his face before covering you all in a thick blanket. With you and Jekyll cuddled up on either side of Hector and covered by that thick blanket you feel cozy and warm. To make sure you all don't overheat Hector keeps the little hidey hole nice and cool. Not too cold to make your teeth chatter, but not too warm to make you sweat to death.

Jekyll ends up reaching over to hold your hand in one of his deathly pale, cold ones as Hector reaches over to grab a book. The coyote just stares at you... It's like he's examining you like a scientist would to a butterfly. Looking over your face, then your hair and down to the hand he's holding. When he looks back up at your face his body gets a bit warmer, the slightest flush on his face.

"Y-you're... Pretty," he mumbles under his breath. He adverts his gaze soon after just as Hector leans back with a book in hand.

Hey… you guys gotta minute?

[I peek my head into the attic before making my way over to the HVAC debating sitting atop it before sitting down against the side.]

Work was tough just wanted some company I suppose…

As soon as you sit down Jekyll comes running over to you like a dog running on hardwood floors, his feet slipping all over the place. As soon as he's close enough you're soon tackled to the ground with a slobbery tongue licking all over your face. It's a good while before he lets up and moves away to look at you. His tail is wagging like crazy as he stares down at you with his wide eye.

"I got g-gift," he stutters out before pulling a small trinket out of his pocket. It's a very old looking, silver flower charm. When you look at him he looks proud of his little discovery, practically wiggling where he sits. He then slowly leans forward and boops your noses together. He looks rather happy that you're back in the attic with him and Hector. Speaking of, said man finally emerges from the HVAC unit with a quiet groan. When he sees you he immediately smiles and sits down on the ground with you and the taxidermy.

"Hello, my love," he greets in a dreamy tone, "sorry I wasn't here sooner. I um..." He looks down at his lap and then looks away, blushing a bit seemingly in embarrassment. "I may have gotten startled by a s... Spider in the vents," he says, choking on the word spider. The coyote just looks over at him and smiles slightly.

"Y-you bumped your... H-head," he stutters out and giggles a bit to which Hector pushes Jekyll's face away with a pout on his face.

"Anyway, is there anything you'd like to do, sweetheart?" As he asks his hand is promptly chomped on by Jekyll. The HVAC system just lets the coyote use him as a chew toy. He seems used to this.

How Does The Inside Of Jekyll’s Mouth Feel?

And If Anything But Normal, How Does Hector Feel About It?

Hector stares at you for a long moment... The confusion he feels is clear as day plastered on his face. He blinks a few times and looks down at the coyote that's currently chewing on his hand like he's a personal chew toy.

"Um... It's quite, uh," he pauses when Jekyll looks up at him, "interesting to say the least." Hector gives the man next to him a small smile to which Jekyll returns before going back to his chewing. The HVAC looks back up at you and squints like he's trying to figure you out. "Why do you wanna know?" He questions you while putting a hand on his hip. As he does this the taxidermy let's go of his hand... Which is now dripping with thick saliva. Hector doesn't react to it, but you can see the disgust in his eyes. Though, when Jekyll looks up at him expectantly he just sighs and praises him.

"Mm.. oh, you found my book, huh? You like the drawing...?"

*I pet him sleepily*-🏳️‍⚧️🌡

Jekyll jolts at the sudden touch to his head, but he slowly relaxes when he realizes it's just you. Feeling your hand on his head makes his eyes flutter shut without his permission. He's not gonna complain though. With how he leans into your hand you know clearly as day that he adores it. As you continue his thumbs rub the cover of the notebook seemingly on their own. At your question he slowly nods and wraps his arms around your waist.

Before you can say anything else you're quickly lifted up and placed between the coyote's legs so he can hold you better. His head finds its way onto your shoulder, and he just melts into you. His tail is gently thumping against the floorboards while he enjoys the affection he receives.

"Mhm... Thank you," he mumbles and presses a hesitant kiss to your cheek... Though it's not really a kiss. He just presses his face against your face... He's still not used to this kissing thing.

"It.."

*he swallows and shakes his head*

"I just wanted to see you.. and I have now. So.. I'll get going."

*he stands there for an extra few seconds before walking off..*

He clearly was there for another reason. He never went to the attic at night.-❄️

Hector goes to speak, but quickly shuts himself up almost immediately when Asher turns to leave. With a sigh he reluctantly turns back towards his HVAC as well and starts heading back to the unit to go back to bed. Jekyll looks between the two brothers with pure confusion on his face. He can smell the tension, literally, between the two. It might just be his more protective behavior right now, but he's not having it.

His ears flatten and he huffs before turning and grabbing Asher by the arm. His grip is gentle, but firm on the AC's arm as he pulls him over to the HVAC unit. Then, he shoves the man down on a box and sits down on the floor between Asher and the door. The stare he gives the AC is nothing short of intimidating while blocking his only way to the door.

"Talk," he commands with growl trailing behind the word. During this Hector tries to calm the taxidermy down at least a little bit. His calloused hand finds its way into the coyote's hair and slowly scratches at his head. Jekyll reluctantly melts into the touch, though he does try to keep his hard stare on Asher. But, he can't help it when he leans into the man's touch just a bit. Soon, Hector joins Jekyll on the floor in front of his brother with a soft grunt. He doesn't stop petting the coyote next to him for a second in fear of said man possibly attacking Asher.

With a sigh he says, "Okay, why did you actually come up here, Asher?" He tilts his head slightly with the question, and Jekyll follows suit soon after. They stare at Asher expectantly for an answer.

*The other taxidermy hears someone walking and a soft clank of a cane. He leans against the cane, looking at the Coyote taxidermy. His ears flop a bit. His right eye was covered by a rabbit mask. His clothes of one you would see on a vampire and his appearance one of an innocent rabbit.* -🦴🐰

Jekyll immediately locks eyes with the rabbit from his corner of the attic. Then, slowly, he ducks down behind the boxes that barricade his spot. He's incredibly quiet as he moves, his careful footsteps blending in with the settling of the house. It's as if he disappeared, just vanished, into thin air.

A soft rustle...

A quiet creak...

He tackles the other taxidermy to the ground and stares him down with the intensity of a guard dog staring down some pest. His body is stock still as he leans down closer to the rabbit. There's a few small sniffs from him... Then they get deeper and he gets even closer. A low growl sounds from his chest as he finally speaks,

"Who are you," he questions in that raspy voice of his. He says it more like a statement than a question. He doesn't seem too pleased by someone intruding his space. Especially not with someone he treasures sharing it with him.

(WAIT NO NOT A ANSWER AFTER MY SHARK WEEK IS OVER!!!!)

I burst back into the attic now well equipped with a bucket, ibuprofen, raspberry tea and those Heated pads that are literal lifesavers.

GUY I AM SO SORRY I WAS IN A MOMENT OF SEVERE PAIN AND DIDN’T THINK! Okay okay Jekyll first, here drink water and take the bucket. Hector heres a heated pad for you rest that on your lower stomach helps a bunch. WAIT FORGOT BLANKETS AND PILLOWS BRB

Dashing out of the attic I basically throw myself back in moments later holding a pile of blankets and pillows….before promptly falling on my ass getting smothered by the pile-

Jekyll yelps when he's given water and a bucket, but he takes them with gratitude. The window is suspiciously open, but you don't think about it. At least there's not a gross smell of vomit in the attic. Hector also happily takes the heating pad and does as you instruct. He visibly relaxes upon feeling the heat against him, and you can hear him along with the HVAC unit sigh in relief.

"Thank you, my love. I-" he cuts himself off when he sees all the blankets you've brought up to him and Jekyll. He blinks a few times in confusion at the sight. Then you fall down and he immediately gets onto his feet to help you. "Oh no! My love, are you okay?" He quickly takes the blankets off of you before bending down and stroking your cheek to make sure you're awake at least. "Okay, c'mon sweetheart. Let's relax, hm?" He carefully picks you up off of the ground despite the pain he's in, and carries you over to the HVAC unit with a few blankets in tow. You can hear Jekyll whining not too far away from you both, and if you look over Hector's shoulder the coyote is pouting on the floor. Hector just sighs, sets you down into the unit with the blankets, and then grabs Jekyll up off the floor.

The taxidermy looks much happier when being held while the HVAC system carries him into the unit with you. Soon enough, all three of you are cuddled up in the HVAC unit covered in blankets with the heating pad being shared between Hector and Jekyll. The two boys are asleep pretty quickly once Jekyll's nausea and Hector's pain calm down enough for them to doze off.

Seems like you're gonna be stuck here for a bit.

Period cramp projection

You find Jekyll and Hector curled on the floor next to each other looking like they're being tortured. Jekyll is whining quite loudly with his face pressed against the floorboards while Hector is pressed against the wall with his knees pulled up to his chest. Him and Jekyll both look like they're on the verge of tears.

"Is this what you have to deal with every month?" Hector groans out the question before pressing his face between his knees. He starts to slowly rock himself back and forth all while Jekyll is just laying limp on the floor.

"Mm... Sick," *the coyote whines,* "'mma throw up." He huffs before closing his eyes and accepting his fate. Both are not having fun in the slightest, and Hector asks you for Ibuprofen or some other pain medication before you leave. As you're leaving the attic you hear the familiar sound of someone gagging and then vomiting soon after... Seems Jekyll was serious about what he said.

Thoughts on pigeons?

Asking for a feathery friend.

Hector hums in thought about the question. He hasn't seen too many pigeons around the house before, but Jekyll sure has talked a lot about them.

"Well, I don't know all that much about them, but from what I've heard they seem quite cute," he says with a small smile on his face. Though, Jekyll is now staring at a wall like it just insulted his whole family legacy. Then his gaze flicks back over to you with that same intense stare...

Then his tail is thumping against the floor so hard you think he might be trying to bash it open.

"They're nice... I-I like the um... One with spots," he manages to stutter out while snapping his fingers. Soon enough he claps his hands together and points at you. "Parlor Rollers," he annouces perfectly without a hint of hesitation, "old owner... Pigeon br-breeder." He stares at you with a proud look in his eye as he sways side to side on his spot on the ground. "I fo-forgot why they... Can't fly," he mumbles while his face grows more solemn, "at least they look p-pretty."

OOC://Hello again!- I'M NOT DEAD I PROMISE- school just started up for me again and I got absolutely WHIPPED TODAY- thankfully I have 2 art classes and another class where I'll possibly be able to do asks- so, even more delays- :,] I apologize and will try to work on asks ASAP-

*Asher waves a bit but is clearly still shaken from the face to face contact. It reminded him of things.. He looked off, completely unaware of their interaction. He leans against the wall behind him, still trying to calm down. He doesn't let it show now that his brother is here.* -❄️

Jekyll hesitantly waves back at Asher while staying near Hector. He still looks skeptical about the AC unit, but isn't trying to be aggressive anymore. Hector on the other hand tilts his head at how Asher is acting. His mouth opens to say something, but then he closes it. He won't push.

"Um... Did you need something, Asher?" He asks with that concerned look still in his eyes. His free hand is fidgeting with the pipes on his metal torso. Jekyll looks up at the man beside him and then back at Asher. For him, the air reeks of tension and anxiety. His ears flatten against his head while he watches the two brothers speak to each other.

[Bumble grins, using her other hand cup Hector's cheek. She leaned down, gently kissing the tip of his nose with a smile.]

[She sat down beside the two, making herself comfortable.]

Hector flushes immediately when you kiss his nose. He slightly melts into your hand on his cheek despite how flustered he is, but then straightens himself when you sit down with him and Jekyll. The HVAC pulls his knees to his chest as his cone grows taller to hide his face.

"G-glad you're doing well, my beauty," he mumbles while avoiding eye contact. Meanwhile, Jekyll whines at you moving and huffs as he crawls over to lay across your lap. He rests his head against Hector's thigh and curls up into a ball under his cape. Then he goes limp minus for his tail which is wagging slowly across the floor. Hector doesn't look down as he reaches a hand out to tangle in the taxidermy's hair, much to said man's pleasure. Hector clears his throat before speaking again, "though, sorry to hear your day has been slow. I don't know if me and Jekyll will be of much help to that."

Hector chuckles while Jekyll just whines at the idea. He clearly doesn't want to get up. Not when he's oh so comfy on your lap... Even if he doesn't exactly fit.
