Hunter Clarington 17 - Single -Duly Noted You should know by now who I am since our performances are known throughout the halls of this school. Duly Noted is the team to beat and each and ever one of us knows how to perform like it's second nature. If you just haven't been paying attention or you're completely new then I'll go ahead and give you the run down. Name's Hunter Clarington and I am a junior this year. Used to attend a military academy then I was attending Dalton until unfortunate events brought that to an end. Now I'm at McKinley and have found that the terrible situations that brought me here turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I'm here to take part in a Nationals victory and nothing is going to change that. If you were hoping to shake me or make me fear for the win then keep on moving. I'm hard to scare and I never back down. I'm also not interested in a relationship if that was on your mind. When I'm not at rehearsal or in class, I'm usually with my best friend Jesse St. James. pretty pictures in my head

As a factor in the competition? It’s not.

Then tell me that no matter who wins, our relationship won’t be affected by the outcome.

That’s not what I meant, but okay. Fine.

Harmony I didn’t realize I would have to worry about my relationship as a factor of this.

troubletoneharmony:

There are! You mean a lot to me, Hunter. I just know myself and my issues surrounding winning. It’s not like I would be mad at you for anything, I’d just be highly disappointed in myself.

I mean a lot, but not enough to be proud of my boys and I if we win? I should actually probably get to practice.

Guess so.

I get winning being important and everything, but I did think there were some things that meant more.

No… I don’t know. I love you, but I’m weird with competition. I’m sure I’d get over it quickly, but in the moment the disappointment with myself would be very much real and could manifest in an odd way.

Well I guess we’ll see when the time comes then.

troubletoneharmony:

I don’t know. I don’t think so, but I wouldn’t know for sure until it happened. I just know winning is very important to both of us.

So for me losing wouldn’t mess with our relationship, but for you it might?

troubletoneharmony:

Well, obviously. But me winning over you wouldn’t make you a little bitter?

Well, would my winning over you make you bitter?

troubletoneharmony:

Ridiculous question but… one of us winning over the other isn’t going to have an impact on us, right?

Of course not. That would be ridiculous since there is a very high likelihood that it would be one of our teams that wins.

You’re mistaken, since the only way that could happen would be if you tied with the Troubletones. But again, your confidence in your team is cute.

You never know. The boys have been working very hard and I have to say, we’re rather amazing.

No, yeah, I’m positive that I don’t. But I appreciate your optimistic thinking for your team.

It’s hardly just optimistic thinking. That’s how it’s going to go. Duly Noted are going to be the new champions.

It’s okay to change some of the rules to reflect the changing times. But I know Duly Noted won’t change too much under your lead. You’ll still come in second to the Troubletones under mine.

I think you have that reversed.

It won’t. Why mess with a good thing? You know that you could always make them a part of the ask.

You know I don’t want to be a hypocrite it’s just...if I get captain there’s also this tradition and just...I would want to live up to my expectations too.

We both know that’s not enough to win.

Duly noted could just operate differently.

As a future show choir captain, I know you have the skills.

Maybe it’s my charm and good nature that will lead the group.

It’s just a little High School Musical 3. Easy.

For the girl who actually does more than stage combat things, sure.
