Soooo stupid being genderfluid and feeling dysphoric when my gender is feminine instead of masculine or androgynous. This makes no sense. What do you mean I feel dysphoric about my gender? It is my gender, the gender that I am right now. Why is it making me feel weird? Why can't I just be a girl sometimes and be OK with it?

guys is it crazy that my first crochet project was amigurumi? like I genuinely hadn't learned any stitches I just dove head first into a YouTube tutorial for how to make a baby octopus. I completely messed up the starting chain circle, made it inside outwards, and did FLO for the entire project. Apparently the cursed octopus is still sitting on a shelf at my friends house lol

I always hate when my aunt brings up the fact that the Mexicans in our town are "treated better" in court than white or Black people are, specifically in regards to traffic violations. Anytime she says something out of pocket about immigrants or, hell, even the Mexican born here, I'll call her out because, hey, that's not very nice or cool of you, that's kinda racist. I do this so that I don't subconsciously absorb her ideals because, y'know, I wanna be a good person, obviously I'm not perfect but at least I'm trying. Anyways back to the point, anytime I call her out she'll always bring up about how when she had to go to court to get custody of my siblings and I, they'd do the traffic court and stuff like that first. She says that Mexicans with no license who were speeding and such would just get a slap on the wrist and a small fine, while white or Black people with the same violations would get jail time and a hefty $200 fine. And yeah, obviously I see the problem, everyone should be treated fairly in court and such I'm not saying that the Mexican people in that courtroom should have been given that leniency they should have gotten the same punishment as the rest. However. She always uses this argument to say something bad about the Mexicans, which I think is not the point she should be making. I mean, imagine you get caught speeding with no license and all you get is a small fine. Are you gonna look that gift horse in the mouth?

Something I hate the most about people saying that illegal immigrants are "taking all the American jobs" is that, in my town, most of the immigrants are Mexicans, and most of them work in one of two places: the nurseries, or one of the numerous Mexican restaurants in my town

Meanwhile, the people complaining about them "taking the jobs" are a bunch of lazy assholes that I know are not gonna get up off their sorry keisters and go work in either of those places

I'm not saying that all immigrants work in jobs like these, nor should they have to. Someone else getting something good is not stopping you from getting something good yourself.
