DSaF 4 Progress

So, a few of you might know but I am making a DSaF 4 with Michael and Ambassador of Clown Town (or AOCT as im gonna call ‘em) Currently, we are working on stuff like concepts, the game style and storyline. I wanted to make some little update logs because 1) I like talking about my work and 2) I thought people would be interested. Currently, the game is probably going to be similar to the flipside/arcade events in the canon trilogy. We will probably not have voice acting, due to everyone on the team not having good mics or any experience with acting, thus we are probably going to also not use the text to speech voices because it’ll feel odd since some characters have voices and others don’t. We have very little character concepts done right now, or any that aren’t just unfinished sketches. Although we do have concepts for the sprites, these are not gonna be used in the final product (and will have animations)

Well, that is kinda all I wanted to talk about. If people are curious, you can send an ask or something.

DSaF 4 Progress

Hey again, since people showed a bit of interest I thought I’d show some super early concept stuff, from when I was just toying with the idea.

This design was Henry’s, I never fully finished it and it has changed quite a bit. I do not plan on revealing a lot of lore until the game comes out, but Henry is supposed to be a sort of ring leader of a circus/freakshow.

This design was meant for Jack, it was changed a bit and still needs to be redesigned. He was supposed to be sort of doll, and was later changed to be similar to that of a scarecrow.

Dave’s design was the first made, and I was only messing around with the idea of a game concept, I never planned on anything then. Dave’s design has no other versions as of current, and is next to be redesigned. We did have a Blackjack, Jacktrap and Dee early designs but those are lost to the depths of my abandoned canvases.

One of the earliest creations I posted was the lil bread monster. Decided to make the mother of all bread monsters from Expiration date! Hand-Sculpted and painted by me.
