you dhould be your own person. you are so young and insecure. at this rate you will never be able to find the cup or the scepter
what
He doesn’t even have the cup or the scepter
James Marsters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer 5.21 The Weight of the World (2001)
Publisher: So we wanted to know if you’d be willing to collaborate on the cover reveal for your book.
Me: You mean the thing they do in publishing where you only make the cover of your book public six months before the book actually comes out to build anticipation about the release? Do authors…not want to be involved in that?
Publisher: You’d be surprised.
Me: Well, obviously yes. The biggest question is who we’re revealing it to.
Publisher: …Instagram?
Me: YOU MISUNDERSTAND ME.
Genuinely can’t believe I can finally splash this all over the internet. IT’S A REAL BOOK. YOU CAN PREORDER IT.
Alright Eliot drop the hair styling routine RIGHT NOW
Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Behind The Scenes, Season 2
Part One
rewatching Mamma Mia! and just. it’s so perfect in it’s imperfection. people are sweating and their hair is messy and the makeup is minimal and the older people have wrinkles and also look hot and the costuming is chaotic and perfect and the actors were a little tipsy and they mess up lines and aren’t always perfectly on pitch and some of them are clearly not singers or dancers but they look like they’re having so much fun and I really believe that they’re on a greek island that’s the site of Aphrodite’s fountain and god it’s just a perfect movie.
“my father is a boy and my mother is a girl so i’m mixed” is the funniest possible response to someone asking your gender and it came from 6’5 Viking footballer and notable weird little guy Erling Haaland on a Snapchat
comedians can only dream of writing something this funny
i mean, i think eliot was kinda right when he said that he couldn't ever be fully redeemed. to me, personally, redemption is a fluid concept. i think to parker and hardison and sophie, he never had to redeem himself - to nate, maybe a little. but there are plenty of people out there who have been hurt by eliot spencer in horrific ways, ways that cannot possibly be made up by him. ever.
vader every time he came across 3po and r2 during the war probably
Hypothetically how do you think Cal and Ezra and Ahsoka would react if while rebuilding the jedi order Luke tried to introduce them to a redeemed Anakin? Either force ghost version or still living version
ohhh reaaaalllly well for sure for sure (definitely not a teacher version of this)
(links // tip jar!)
Your art gives me so much joy! Have you done Force Ghost Anakin meeting his adopted grandbaby Grogu?
oh no, worst ever meet your new grandpa in the history of ever

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS (2002)
im realizing very fast that people do not in fact know that sometimes things in stories suck on purpose and it sucking is the point
"this story is misogynistic!!"
>looks inside
>about the pressures of societal misogyny and how its bad
I feel like when I say ‘relatable’ what I really mean is ‘resonant.’ I don’t want characters who I feel are like me, I want characters who have emotions so strong I can feel them through the page.
I think this is important because a lot of us forget the power of stories to make us feel things about characters who are not like us, who have experienced things that we never will. The purpose of listening to someone else's story should not necessarily be identification, but understanding.
John O'Brien for NEW YORKER magazine, 1991.
