everyone talks about darry making sure his baby brothers are asleep but imagine pony just making sure darry’s asleep

pony goes into darry’s room either after a nightmare or after he had accidentally stayed up too late doing homework or reading, pick your poison, but regardless he just…feels the need to make sure darry is sleeping for once. now darry is a silent sleeper. dead silent and a HEAVY sleeper, the only thing that can wake him up is his brothers being in distress, but pony just approaches the bed and just sees his older brother, for once, not in his normally busy routine, but just sleeping.

darry finally looks his age…heck, he’s only 20, yet half the time he looks like he could pass for double that age. but when he’s sleeping? the worry creases are gone. the coldness isn’t in his stone hard facial expression. there’s no tension in his muscles. he’s just completely relaxed, the only sign of life being the rise and fall of his chest.

pony finally sees it-the way his hardworking, stressed out brother who probably hasn’t even eaten that night because he’s busy taking care of them, his brother who worked a double shift that day and only got home the hour prior, not even bothering to take off his shoes and work clothes…god, it’s painful.

and pony stays with him because by god he was going to make sure his older brother was stress free, even if he only can be in his sleep.

to all the americans who lost their ability to be themselves today, i get you. i know how it feels when government takes away your hope and freedom and medicine and leaves you with nothing. but i believe in you now, nothing is over. don’t let one old man end your life. he won’t do it. because you’re better than him. you all have a future ahead of you and his regime has nothing. you just need to outlive it before you can leave the country or it changes, and i believe you can do it.

i sometimes take requests but i gotta mention that it might take me a while to finish them!

and i don’t take commissions because unfortunately i’m in russia😔😔😔 so i don’t think that there’s a possibility (or a wish) to ship money to me… maybe i can figure out how boosty works but definitely not in the nearest future
