Finn after Johnny and dally died

Finn had taken dally jacket. And gang had to drag Finn a way from dallys body so the police could do there think with the dead body

Dally raised the gun, and I thought: you blasted fool. They don’t know you’re only bluffing … and even as the police men’s guns shot fire into the night. I realize that was what he wanted. Gravity violently reclaimed my lower body with the impact of the site. “Oh dally” I cried. As the look of grim triumph filled his face. he was dead before he hit the ground. but i knew that was what he wanted. Even as the lot echoes with the muffled crack of shots. Even as I crawls begging please not him… not him and Johnny both.. i curled my hands in the leather fabric of his Jacket. Pulling him closer. While tears fall, I knew he would be dead, because Dally Winston wanted to be dead and he always got what he wanted.

The Outsiders small rant

So i was on tiktok and I saw a video talking about The Outsiders, and in the comments someone said "I'm allowed to like Dallas and hate Bob." And the Op replyed to that comment and said "I actually dissagree." So i was wondering why its so bad to feel that way. Like I love Dally, and I'm well aware of the fact the he isn't exactly a good person and him and Bob are like two sides of the same coin. But I just don't understand why its so bad to like Dally and dislike Bob. Bob didn't really get that much time to give me a reason to like him during the book or the movie (It has been a little while since I've seen the movie and read the book so please correct me for anything i get wrong) and all we really got from him is just him being a total dick. The most we get of Him being a little nice is Cherry(Sherri) telling Ponyboy something along the lines of he can be really sweet or he isn't always like that, but that doesn't really give me a solid reason to actually like Bob and I serously don't unserstand people to do like him. And I'm not one of thise fans who thinks all the Soc's sould die or somthing thats just stupid. And I also don't genuinely think Dally is "so sweet to you in private abd would cuddle you when hes bored" (I do eat up any fanfic like that tho) I just really like his character. Anyway, Bob fans, why do you like him? Dally haters, why don't you like him? People who think I shouldn't like Dally and hatw Bob, why? Please at least try and be respectful with answers🫶

Side note: Ponyboy is my favorite.
