I remember buying the supershitty Roland MC-303 back in the nineties, trying to convince myself that It was the best thing ever to happen to an unabashed 303/808/909 lover like me. It was not. It was a pain in the ass to program and the sounds were weak, but the originals were out of production and the used ones were expensive, CV only, and being analogue based they were prone to various moisture related malfunctions and whatnots. And now, 20 years later Roland did it the right way... There goes my next paycheck I suppose.
