.Flow Week 2026 - Day 3 [ Dress Effect / Duality / Crossover ]

"You remind me of someone..."

Shoutout to @preemptive-absoluution and @gracefuljabberwocky4444 for talking about Yume Tsushin in the .flow tumblr community and convincing me to play it, I've been really enjoying its artistic decisions & moodiness!

It's so wild to me that Wormiko can actually go outside... the quiet, somber emptiness of a city on a snowy night without power or people is a BIG mood for me lol. But poor Wormy seems so lonely, I bet she'd feel so much joy to have some company on one of her chilly walks.

I think Sabitsuki would take a liking to her because she reminds her of her dear friend, Oreko, and at the very least be down to smash some windows and help Wormy grab some food or supplies. Also I imagine when Wormy hears Sabi can turn into a cat, she'd be a chatterbox about it haha.

I haven't played the ending(s) yet so I'm not sure if Yume Tsushin is, like, full post-apocalyptic or what Wormiko's fate is. But I'm picking up on themes of isolation and extinction, so... :)

It was an interesting challenge to work out the color keys for Sabi and Wormy in a setting similar to this. And to avoid adding highlights!

~ Dunephase Update 🧵

Heyo, I have some exciting news! :>

In my newly-opened Ko-fi shop, I'm now selling some stickers & accessories for plushies or dolls (bandanas!). I also now have my own portfolio website: dunes.page ⭐

In time I will be adding plushies to my shop, and showcasing more non-fanart work on my website. Moreover, I am participating in the Pokejinka fanzine run by @dotzines~!! :D (It's a free digital zine themed on Kanto & Johto Pokemon gijinkas and is expected to release sometime in early 2026.)

More info on art commission openings and custom plush/accessory orders will come in the future (but you can always message me in the meantime if you have any questions).

My Let's Plays are on hold because I am prioritizing art stuff and considering a move to a different video platform since Youtube's made some very poor decisions as of late. No plans to remove anything from my channel, though, and I would still like to cover more of Pokemon Flux this year.

I love that the cat effect turns Sabitsuki into an actual cat, and it's fun to imagine what her pals would look like as kitties, too. :3

Finished animation (WIP here). It's a flying loop of Alteran Owten from Pokemon Flux (RPGMaker fangame). July 2023.

...Can't believe I sat on this for a year lol. Debated on adding shading & I had trouble making the bg transparent and then forgot about it, oops. ^^; I did not exactly succeed-- the transparent versions below look pretty crusty against a dark layout. But whatever, go wild--you are free to use or modify any of the gifs in this post for non-commercial, non-NFT, and non-generative-AI purposes.

🤔 Apparently RoughAnimator supports transparent backgrounds now so thankfully next time I won't have to figure out how to use something like Photoshop to get the transparency, while still preserving the 24 fps timing. Whew!

Here is the last video in my Let's Play of Pokemon Flux: Episode One! It's more of an epilogue as I finish up Terra's & Skye's sidequests and complete as much of the Dex as I can.

I drew my Furby! August 2023.

She doesn't have a name yet (it's been like 3 weeks but I just can't decide aaaaa), but she is a lovely furb all decked out in a scarf, sandals, and a Bionicle axe (lol). Photo below!

Here's the latest video from my current Let's Play of the Pokemon fangame Pokemon Flux! There will be 12 videos in my playthrough of Episode One. (The game is unfinished, but there is still at least 8 hours of gameplay, and plenty more if you're trying to do everything.) I've really been enjoying it! Just 2 videos left after this... until more of the game is released in the future!

In this video, I reach the climax of sorts for what's currently playable: battling in the League Arena of Rook Town! If you'd prefer to check out my LP from the beginning, please check out my Youtube channel.
