Sometimes there were benefits to being coworkers. Other times, Dark hated having to show Mare to prospective clients. Today was one of those days.
Mare sat at the head of the table, lazing languidly sideways in his chair with a signature smile as he spoke to their client. His arm was a little too close to the client, hair falling over lavender eyes in an almost inviting manner, and his chuckles were far too similar to the laughter only Dark was allowed to hear.
“I think we have enough information,” Dark suddenly stated, closing the file in front of him with more force than was needed. “We will complete the job and contact you again when we are finished.” He watched as the client left quietly, waiting until the door clicked shut before starting to put his things away with a false calmness.
“Should probably contact them in the next day or so,” Mare stated calmly from his place in his chair, rolling his head to look at Dark. “You didn’t even ask for a timeframe to complete the job.”
“They come here for fast and inconspicuous jobs,” Dark replied curtly, setting his bag aside as he leaned his hands against the table. “We have a name, an address, and their number. Would you like to know their coffee order, too?”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Mare asked, swinging his legs off the armrest to face Dark properly.
“Maybe you should go chase them and ask how long they’d like us to toy with the target,” Dark continued, eyes flashing as Mare stood up. “I’m sure they’d like to tell you more about their escapades that have nothing to do with the task.”
“I was making the client comfortable,” Mare tried to explain, stepping toward Dark and placing a hand on his own. “They’re more likely to indulge secrets when they’re comfortable.”
“They’re likely to indulge you,” Dark growled, turning to face Mare and grabbing his shirt with his free hand. “Bet you’d open your legs for that client if I wasn’t here. Tell me, is it your goal to—” He was cut off by Mare lunging into a heated kiss, hands grasping his blazer to pull him closer.
“Jealousy is hot on you,” he panted against Dark’s lips, eyes lidded as he smirked. “How about you show me how much my chat with that client affected you, hm?” emphasising his question by sliding his hand down to cup and squeeze at Dark’s crotch, Mare gasped as he was turned and pushed against the table, hands on his hips barely taking time to unbuckle his belt before pulling down his pants and boxers.
“It’s not jealousy,” Dark grunted as he undid his own pants, sliding them and his boxers down just enough to free his cock. “I don’t like other people seeing my property. I don’t like the thought of sharing you with anybody.” He blinked at the sound of a bottle of lube opening, looking down to see Mare offering the bottle with lidded eyes, the lavender turned a dark amethyst from lust.
“Then don’t,” Mare hummed, resting his cheek on the table and bracing his hands against the edge. “Don’t share me. “Mine,” Dark growled, seeing the shiver that went down Mare’s back at the sound. “You’re mine, and mine alone. Nobody else can touch you, nobody can make you feel the way I can.” As Mare sighed in response, Dark took the opportunity to push into him, loving the way the sigh caught in Mare’s throat.
“D-Dark…” Mare moaned, knuckles going white from his grip on the table, barely getting a breath in before Dark started thrusting harshly, making his eyes roll back in pleasure. “Fuck, Dark, I’m yours, yes, yes, yes!”
“I don’t want to share you with anybody,” Dark panted, one hand on Mare’s hip while the other slid under him to pull him up, pressing his chest to Mare’s back and digging his nails into his chest. “I don’t like sharing.”

“My finch,” Dark growled, biting into Mare’s shoulder as he came, hugging Mare close and moving a hand to stroke him into another release before pulling out and adjusting his grip, feeling Mare falling boneless against him. “I’m sorry about my comments,” he apologised, moving them to sit in the chair.
“I know you didn’t mean them.” Mare could only whisper, voice shot from both the argument and his moans. “I don’t realise when I’m being flirty, but if it can get you jealous again…”
“If you want me to fuck you against something hard,” Dark replied, brushing his lips over the bite on Mare’s shoulder, “You only have to ask, finch. Don’t make me jealous on purpose, or I’ll be harsher.”
“I love you, Dark,” Mare mumbled, resting his head against Dark’s shoulder as his eyes drooped. Dark’s answer was a soft hum and a kiss to Mare’s cheek.
