Funger’s got me in a chokehold again so here’s 1/2 of a revamped version of an old comic of mine. Will be posting the second half the minute I’m done with it!

And sorry for the hiatus y’all, had some health stuff come up and it lasted a good while. Luckily I’m doing a lot better as of recent so expect more art soon :)

ok this has been driving me crazy. The letter in one of the panels of the Wireface and Worried Friend comic absolutely has Georgian symbols on it. Why is it glitched like that? Why include it??? I don’t know the reason but I know it’s to make my heart hurt. You sick sick individual

Okay WELL. First I want to say that interpretation is everything so my true intention behind it doesn’t matter THAT much, but I wanted to represent that Wireface could remember just how sweet and poetic Worried Friend was, but is now beginning to forget what exactly those countless letters contained because he’s miles and miles away from them and unable to revisit them. It’s just “I love you” over and over in Georgian and distorted because the words are lost but the feeling behind them is still something Wireface can feel in his bones.

Anyways I digress. Mini Wireface.

I’m super proud that it hit some people’s emotions!!! Their story is so tragic and I wanted to flesh it out and make it hit juuuust a little harder. Wireface’s yearning and grief are so important to me :(

AUGHH,, auugh. I was so into reading/translating the worried friend comic that Wireface saying “zmw gsvm gsviv'h blf, mlg fmwvihgzmwrmt z gsrmt.” PUNCHED me in the gut.

I was so into translating it that I nearly forgot that the homeowner isn’t getting any of it! The tragedy of the language barrier is definitely something that drew me to his story in the game in the first place and. Hgggh. Man, even the bonus panel. 😔. Did you at least kiss the brick before you threw it at us???? Gsv xslrxv gl pvvk rg rm zgyzhs dliph hl dvoo... ld.

I love Wireface and Worried Friend so much, all your content with them is a delight. You could say it’s a good kind of hurt, haha.

(Also after translating all that I feel as though I’m going to start being able to understand atbash without a cipher. )

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I genuinely didn’t expect people to like my silly oc boyfriend stand-in for Wireface so much haha, it’s super flattering to know that people are invested in their relationship and the way I chose to display it :’)

There’s a few more things I tucked in that second half of the comic that I can’t wait for people to think about and theorize the point of!!

I think about these two an unhealthy amount. Maybe it’ll turn out that Worried Friend is in the right place at the right time and they find each other again. That’s not guaranteed to work out either, though.

Also a LOT more to translate in this one, sorry about that lol. It probably hurts like hell for Wireface to talk too much but he’s got a lot to get off his chest :’)

you established that Worried Friend is Wireface’s boyfriend, but what is he like? you called him an oc so I assume you’ve given him a lot of personality and lore on your own.

I have, yes!!!! I really want to make a little mini-comic kind of showcasing who he is/was as a person and how he was as Wireface’s partner because like you said, I DO have a lot I want to say about this guy. However, and this is literally the ONLY obstacle, he is so fucking hard to draw HAHAHA

Translating my interpretation of his appearance into the ninah art style was the first thing I did, and dude, it was the easiest thing ever. Maybe not the actual digital painting part, but I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. But simplifying his design after that was something I didn’t expect to be so hard LMAO. So as far as progress with that comic goes, this is the most I got at the mo.

Side note, will probably be tagging posts of him with ninah worried friend now, for my own convenience 🙂‍↕️
