Curious to know, what do M! Goldenheart think about Oliver's relationship with Theo, son of the infamous s-tier jerk Todd? Obviously seems way nicer than his dad but the history makes for some tense dinners with in-laws.
Personally I think Ambrosius is probably just happy for his son and never misses a chance to tell Theo how much better he likes him than his dad but whenever Todd is there you better hold him back the moment the kids leave ( staying civil for his son and future son- in law ). Ballister is pretty chill too as long Theo doesn't try anything stupid. Nimona wouldn't give much fuss about it and instead gently just reminds Theo that Oliver is the best knight in the kingdom and has excellent aim in jousting. Oliver's happy with Theo and his family is happy for him and they can put some feelings behind to make sure it stays that way ( Todd you still don't get a get out of jail free card )
Also imagine Percy's viscerally disgusted reaction to this considering how much he hates C!Theo lmao. He wouldn't say it out loud but he's definitely holding back some remarks, cue the " I'm so happy for you and your ugly boyfriend I swear"

Yeah, Theo is a lot nicer than his dad, a polite little guy, and the Goldenheart boys are genuinely fond of him.
Ambrosius loves having him over for dinner and is the one who usually invites him (sometimes even more than Oliver himself lel), though he still does have strong feelings towards Todd.
I think the guy genuinely improved since everything went down, and the three are civil towards each other, but you can tell there's tension from the past.
After all, you don't erase all those years just like that.
Ballister is slightly more distrustful, though he tries not to get that in the way of his son's happiness. He does occasionally vent about it to Ambrosius and has to get comforted about it.
He's scared that Theo might be of the two-faced kind, y'know?
Yeah, Nimona does that, perfectly on point-
(The two of them get along pretty well, actually, they share that lively energy)

Yeah, family dinners are awkward, but they try to make it work for the sake of their very much in love children.
And they don't mind Todd's wife, she's pretty nice, Theo got it all from her.

No way he approves of Theo at the beginning, nope, not a chance. He knows what his version of the guy is like, and he's nothing but bad bad news.

It takes a while, but eventually he realises this little guy can be trusted, and he genuinely loves Oliver very much <3
